They only way they can possibly convince me to buy a remaster is
(1) Update ME1‘s combat to ME3
(2) Update the Mako driving mechanics to the Nomad from ME:A
(3) New romanceable characters (give me a goddamn femturian in a game that isn’t complete garbage)
(4) Completely overhaul/fix ME3’s ending
(5) Include ALL dlc (even the fucking Dr. Pepper code bullshit from ME2)

But let’s be real here, actually fixing shit takes time and effort which is asking way too much of EA/Bioware. They’ll just “””upgrade””” the graphics and people will pay $60+ for it. They might even make it look worse

The only thing I really liked about ME1’s combat was weapon overheating instead of thermal clips. Not a fan of the super long power cooldowns.

The movement is very similar in all games, but ME1 is clearly the worst in that regard

Only reason I said Kaiden was because I though he went from straight in ME1 to bi in ME3. If Ashley did something similar, than go for it. If she always remained straight, then they shouldn’t change that

If I was in charge I'd change it so ony the destroy ending is canon depending on the effectiveness of your war score. Then have a after credits teaser teasing a new game in the og universe.

I suspect even if we do get a remaster trilogy, its going to be farmed out to some third party that is even less competent then Bioware and fuck up the textures and lighting by upgrading it to UE4/UE5 ALA like the Arkham remasters.
