Why does botw get all the praise when rdr2 does everything it set out to do ten times better?
Why does botw get all the praise when rdr2 does everything it set out to do ten times better?
I found both really boring but at least botw had some small amount of fun gameplay at the beginning. rdr2 was just constant boredom, id rather have watched the story on youtube
Because you're on Zig Forumseddit
RDR sales and praise dwarf bitch of the wilds
What do they mean by that do? The story?
do you niggers even understand why botw is praised and rdr2 criticized
I found both boring so it doesnt matter
RDR2 sacrifices gameplay for realism and is honestly horrible to control.
no one gives a fuck what you found boring, faggot
Of course we don't.
You're going to see this exact same thread posted tomorrow with the positions reversed because coming up with dumbfuck thread topics to incite online retard slapfights is the only thing in this world that brings any crumb of joy, anymore.
if you think this you probably have adhd
realistic, wild untouched new world
cartoony, post-apo world full of ruins
it's not even the same kind of sandbox
zelda is fun
I matter more than everyone else in the world combined
I sure love riding a literal half an hour between objectives. Cinematic mode is fucking retarded, it's basically telling you to do something else while the game it plays itself.
BotW had a huge number of issues, but I could at least play the damn thing. Feel free to call me an adhd retard.
because nintendo fanboys are delusional and forced to overpraise their games because of sunk cost
>wojakposter accusing anyone of having ADHD
lel oh lel
So you think that the 60 frame input delay is fine? You think that trying to do things like hitch your horse and then watching Arthur stand there for 5 seconds before figuring out his AI pathfinding to perform that action is great?
>Why does botw get all the praise when rdr2 does everything it set out to do ten times better?
Puzzles and encounters that are handled with the physics engine?
Would you say it doesn't sacrifice engaging gameplay for the sake of having its version of realism?
It's also weird because it has this big open world and all these intricate systems but when you get into a story mission, it slaps that shit out of your hand and tells you to use just one or two of the mechanics in the game
What's the point of an open world game where every objective has a FORCED way of achieving it?
Ninten DRONES. What's sad is that Zelda died at like Majora's Mask; it's been soulless ever since. Yet they still worship the series like it's the second coming or something.
Nintendo bonus
If ubisoft would have released botw it would have gotten a 80 on metacritic at most what the fuck does that game do that other games havent done before? Atleast for rdr2 i could tell you a shitton of cool details i never seen other developers even think about its actual TECHNOLOGY while nintendo just takes all the advancements that other developers have already reached and sell them as their own and their retard fanbase loves this shit
Half life 2 had pyhsics based puzzles in 2004 you are just prooving me right
Because Zelda has a smidgen of originality while RDR2 is a boring as fuck "muh realism" world?
What the fuck is the point of exploring an open world that has no monsters or magical artifacts or legendary weapons or anything to find in it?
This is the reason Zelda wasn't all that great either by the way, far too few unique things to find.
Xenoblade X is a much better open world game than both.
You know theres fast travel for adhd kids like you right?
>if a game doesnt have epic looking orange weapons and weird looking monsters its trash!!!
You ever thought that somebody who buys a western sim would actually want any of this shit you just described? Nintendo fans sure have a low iq
>playing anime games after 16
Cringe
Link doesn't die of convoluted Ganon AIDS, so that one wins by default. Last two chapters were such a fucking chore, jesus christ
>not enjoying the kino
Your iq is too low to comprehend a great game no wonder you enjoy casual shit from nintendo
Read the actual interview and laugh at how mental olympics medalist worthy that stretch is.
>Mr Aonuma, what other games do you play?
>"I've no time to play much videogames anymore, but I've seem some of the unpaid interns play RDR2 ON THE PS4 we keep as door stopper"
.
.
.
>AONUMA SAID HE WANTED TO MAKE BOTW A CARBON COPY OF RDR2 WHILE HE FELLATES THE ENTIRE STAFF OF NAUGHTY DOG. "I'VE BEEN ACTUALLY A SOINY ALL ALONG" HE REPORTEDLY SAID
Meanwhile in real life...
The problem is wanting a western sim in the first place.
Why do you even care about a western game if its not your genre to begin with? I dont like fighting games or strategy sims you dont see me shitposting in threads about them
As a big western fan myself rdr2 was a 10/10
Do your homework, timmy
I dunno man i used to love anime myself as a teen and still consume from time to time but this whole "SENPAI" shit that xenogears does is too much for adult me
I enjoy shit like guren lagann or serial experiments lain more
Red Dead Redemption's gameplay is extremely one-note. It's just Grand Theft Auto with less to do. The thing that makes it worth more than a couple of hours of playtime is the story, which while very long eventually ends. The freeroams, side missions and collectathons (for lack of a better term) are extremely boring and more repetitive than the story missions. Don't even get me started on the Online. More grinding than RuneScape, dad's credit card or meeting a friendly hacker are your only options to get to a point where you can have fun by griefing other players with superior weapons.
>Breath of the Wild
>Sidequests just give you korok seeds.
>Red Dead 2
>Sidequests just give you money even though you'll still be rich just playing the main story.
In conclusion, fuck open world games.
I've grown numb to most anime tropes, so they don't bother me. But regardless, it isn't really all that horrible outside of a few instances.
Youre not supposed to do all that shit at once of course it gets boring
I would always just do whatever i felt like naturaly
Either i did missions, just rode around, looked for treasure, hunting and fishing and all of these in whatever order
I did all the legendary animals and fish and most side missions before being done with the story even and it never felt repetetive
Random shit can happen at all times too
Sometimes i forgot what i wanted to do and just did something completly different
Heck just looking inside all the lone houses you can enter is fuckin dope and finding all kinds of weird or cool shit
Recently i tried playing rabi ribi and it actually bothered me to the point that i would just skip through the story because the gameplay was fine atleast
