Which one is worth dedicating time to?
Which one is better if we don't take into account nostalgia?
Which one has the better early, mid and end game?

neither.
rs3 is just a shitty mmo absolutely ran into the ground
osrs is just that happening again for people too dumb to just stop playing the game.
That was not the question.
bump
Well, you could either play the shit game or the game that is slowly becoming the shit game.
>Which one is worth dedicating time to?
Subjective
>Which one is better if we don't take into account nostalgia?
OSRS
>Which one has the better early, mid and end game?
OSRS, OSRS, RS3
>Which one has the better community?
RS3
>Playing medieval cookie clicker
This is too balanced, elaborate.
OSRS is a better game because RS2 is a better game, and even with all the crap they added there is still that kernel of original greatness
RS3 doesn't care about the early or mid game because its playerbase is even more heavily tilted towards long-time players than OSRS. It has had years of super late-game content that OSRS will probably never be able to catch up to. But I don't care about the later game, personally, because I'm a slow player
RS3 has the better community because it's smaller and probably older. OSRS is full of reddit memelords
Which one do you play?
OSRS. If there was a private server that was mostly content complete and didn't have an XP multiplier I would probably play that instead, but until then OSRS is the closest to the RS2 that I fell in love with
I've left my character in the 70s and found out it was moved to RS3, should I play that knowing I'm so close to endgame?
no, I answered them all.
It really depends on what you want. I'm guessing you haven't played for a number of years, the game you're coming back to is very different
You're not close to endgame, wat. Play whichever one you like but if it's been year since you played then enjoy not knowing what the fuck game you're playing anymore.
Damn fellas why couldn't they just let me move my character to OSRS?
Because that's not how it works. RS3 is the current iteration of the main game, just like Classic, RS2, and RSHD were earlier iterations of the main game. OSRS is a spinoff thing that was started seven years ago.
And frankly, I think the early and middle 'stages' of the game are a lot more fun, so I don't see why starting over is such and issue.
Entitlement.
That would be retarded and fuck everything up, that's why.
Don't worry, Jagex is working hard to fuck it all up again by repeating the exact same mistakes. Just go grind yer little heart out for a bit and you'll be in the 70s again in no time.
Don’t play runeshit
>first day osrs
>max level retards
YAh no that’s the gayest idea ever
That’s not how it works you retard besides they are separate games why would you be able to move them from one to another this might be the stupidest thing ever kill yourself
Calm down
What I meant was more along the line of why couldn't you choose which game to stay by if you had an over 15 years old account that spent most of its time in RS2?
Jeez take a chill pill
Can a forum mod delete this post? It's very offensive.
Slit your throat retard
>WHYYY CANT I USE MU EXISTING HIGH LEFEL ACCOUNT ON THIS TOTALY DIFFERENT THING
I fucking wonder why retard go die
Are you ok?
user take it easy, it's just a game.
Because your account is already "converted" to RS3, with everything that entails. It would be impossible to "downgrade" it into an RS2 account.
Plus, there are a huge number of ways to level much faster in RS3 than OSRS. If transferring account was easy, you could just grind in RS3 and transfer your account to leap ahead of everyone else
YOU CLEARLY NEVER FUCKED A WOLF
>Which one is better if we don't take into account nostalgia?
OSRS purely because it doesn't have pay-to-win or cosmetics cashshop shit. Also the RS3 cutscenes are just awful to deal with. Something to consider though is due to differences in the way the games are written bot detection is better in RS3.
>Which one has the better community?
RS3 probably. Although OSRS feels like less of a ghost town, people talk about as much in both. It's very bleak being in catherby in RS3 with the fruit vendor shouting "fresh pineapples" in a dead ghost town with no other people around. RS3 has less redditors trying to jack each other off with political commentary and humor. Clans in RS3 are more welcoming to new players. RS3 has more skillers and people enjoying runescape for what it is, OSRS community is full of player killing tryhards that loath having to level skills or do quests.
Zig Forumsscape is the closest thing you'll get.

I just want 2008 graphics.
Hell, put me back in 2008. The removal of free trade didn't really bother me, but that's when I started to learn after many years.
