Why do people think smash needs singleplayer, multiplayer is all you need even though the other games in the franchise had much better singleplayer, hell, even 4 had a better singleplayer and that didn’t even have an adventure mode, and even then the multiplayer sucks too since the online is so godawful, which really only leaves local multiplayer, which is barely played these days.

It's genuinely a lot of fun but it's really fucking stupid and imbalanced

High level play hinges around spamming the same handful of good pokes and traps each character has, and some matchups are basically doomed from the outset in one-on-one

If I want a real fighting game I'll stick with Capcom/Sega/Namco/SNK

well until Nintendo fixes the language barrier on his menu to have something like symbols for each spell you might not have a chance at all if you have a language barrier between you two.

Even then he has a worse air game than most of the cast. He is like Smash 4 Shulk in this case where he has broken shit but his frame data holds him back.
