It would be a funny choice but I don’t know, Lucario, Greninja and Incineroar are marketable Pokémon and represents very well their own generation.

I think people are sleeping on Intelleon. Is it the similarity to Greninja? A traditional British spy isn't a ninja. The only potential overlap might be w/ Snake but there are worse cases of "overlap" within the current roster already. You can definitely differentiate Intelleon enough.

I highly doubt about Pokémon it’s on the DLC but based on what Incineroar or Greninja have a lot of publicity, only Cinderace the same treatment.

Maybe it’s not Cinderace, maybe it’s toxtricity or Rillaboom or Urshifu but based on popularity: Mimikyu, Decidueye and Tapu koko were more popular than Incineroar and he even way get into smash over the popular choices So...

if there were concerned about fighter similarity i'm sure they wouldn't pick another bipedal fire pokemon with a sport theme, but if we're going outside of other pokemon rillaboom definitely resembles DK too much. the real question is which one does GF think is popular, they've been picking based on who they think will be the standout they've been 50/50 considering greninja is popular on his own right but i rarely see anyone but barafags give a fuck for the fire cat

Well, I’m just saying that Gamefreak and Sakurai used to pick bipedal humanoid Pokémon representing his own generation with marketing, it is for me, of course I would love to get my lovely Valkyrie Doggo or even the Hairing Goblin but Cinderace it’s going to be a regular Pokémon in the anime, the coprotagonist in the manga have a Scorbunny and the cards of VGC have a lot of Cinderace Reprints, even Cinderace represents the sport style of galar

the only reason i wouldn't put it over pac-land and paper mario is pac-land replaced an objectively better pac stage and paper mario doesn't use the fucking glitz pit as the omega form
it is unironically the ugliest fucking stage in the entire game, its muddy textures and bland castle areas that make it look like a medley of the other castle stages is fucking terrible, especially for a DLC stage.
