You get lives through graze in LoLK and that means a life piece at the end if every chapter as long as you get over 200 graze and dont stop shooting
LoLK is probably one of the easiest to pick up lives in because of it

Are you sure it's that way? From my experience, I've only ever been given life points if I capture a spellcard without dying or using a bomb, irrespective of how much I graze (I've even stalled spellcards in an attempt to farm them, to no avail).
That has to be an updated version or something, otherwise you're just fucking with me.

You are talking about LoLK right? The system requires you to gain over 1,000,000 points by the end of a 'chapter' which is a segment of the stage. You get over a million by getting at least 200 graze with 100% shooting rate, or more graze with a lower shooting rate.
What you're talking about sounds like SA's system, where you did get a life point by capturing a spell card.

Point-based, huh? That might explain it. Generally you earn far more points by capturing a spellcard, which is why I might've confused it.
But still, 100% shooting rate AND 200 graze? It's more than I can handle at my current skill level.

Only managed to 1cc it on Normal as Reisen, but that doesn't really feel very rewarding. UFO and SA are definitely harder overall though, unless you exclude Reisen.
