>Guy selling an item
>Ask how much
>"Offer"
>Make an offer i think is reasonable, no idea how much it's worth because no one else is selling
>"Lol"
Fuck you, cunt.
Guy selling an item
Yeah "offer" just means they hope they can rip you off
That’s when you give him a unreasonably low quote because that will implant in his mind that the actual value is closer to what you just offered.
Or you start wasting his time on purpose because he’s a moron, whatever gives you the most enjoyment.
heh, this thread again
Yeah i accidentally posted it on Zig Forums
>Buying rares in PoE
>Always say "Thanks LOL" to make the other person nervous that they got ripped off
>Fuck you, cunt.
Lol
>user selling item
>ask how much
>"offer"
>decide to offer way overs
>"lol sure"
>trade him the item
>get mine
>he doesn't know the item i gave him is duped
>it disappears from his inventory
lmao baited
Usually people offer way wayy too low or something retarded
Then set a price, fuckface
Non-vidya rant here. I can't fucking stand how eBay is automatically applying the ability to make offers to all my listings if they don't sell in a week. I can go back and disable it but it's getting annoying having to do it every time. I sell things like used remotes on there, where I'm only making like $3 but it's still worth it to stick it in an envelope and put it in the mailbox with the flag up.
"Make offer" is just an invitation saying "this nigga is willing to take less than he's asking" like I'm going to bother putting effort in to make $1 and a buyer potentially saying it doesn't work and then I need to refund the initial shipping cost even if I let him keep it.
>He buys on EBay at the moment
how to get the Rona for Dummies.
what are you buying/selling on EBay? Are you flipping stuff?
>"offer" faggot spamming the chat
>give a ridiculous but reasonable offer
>put the money in the trade window
>go afk
kek based
lol that's cruel
>Spam trade chat with selling something valuable for a really low price
>get spammed constantly by thirsty wannabe flippers
>Go AFK
devilish
>Set a price
>Guy tells me he doesn't have any money. But replay needs the part.
>I just ask he if has something I need.
>He has. And it's around the same value.
>Trade.
>"Thanks bro that really helped"
>Your welcome
And everyone had a great day
>open game
>see people trading in chat
>understand that trading will forever be flawed because you have to get resources that you don't need and that time could be spent on getting resources that you want and players that have resources that you want usually don't gain anything from trading with you
nah nah nah you're doing it all wrong dude
>Guy selling an item
>Ask how much
>"Offer"
>make an absurdly high offer, with a comment along the lines of "really need it ^^;"
>watch him panick and shit his pants to try and seal the deal
>block him
"Offer" niggers get the rope
Here's a guide retard, when a seller says "offer" it means they hope to find a retard that doesn't know the real value and will overpay, that's why you should instantly block any retard that says "offer".
>Sell items bellow lowest price.
>Beggar still begs.
I'm just disappointed.
>>crafting [x] for tip
>ask him to craft it for free
>>no
>ask him to name a price
>>no
dude, you know you list items for a fee that's 5% of their value in the trade broker when you put it up in TERA, right? you didn't even hear him out
It's not a beggar, it's a jew pretending to be a poor beggar, common tactic for trying to get discounts
When online, you don't have to pay that fee.
The reason I'm disappointed is because he later bought it when I was online and thus had to pay the broker fee. That's why I'm not mad, simply disappointed.
Sorry, I didn't have that in the image.
Sounds a lot like Steam beggars desu.
>Offer
Whops. Meant that he bought it when I was offline.
It's 15%, IIRC.
Return the slab...
that's not what I mean
just listing items in the broker takes 5% of the listed price as "earnest money", it's not taken from the item, it's taken from you, so listing and selling a 4900g item would only net you a 4655g profit. Not saying the guy was totally reasonable, but if he was going to give you an offer for that amount or less, you're doing just as well.
mega based
Ah, yes.
True.
I was just so confused to why he would haggle more than the lowest price. Because it cost him less to simply buy at a broker than to haggle with me. The time spent he could've farmed up more gold than he'd save by buying from me when haggled.
Then again I don't know if he was extremely poor or not.
And that's coming from someone that rarely did any content so I would guess I was even poorer than him.
Except that I made millions selling those Shrink/Growth items from that event years ago from 2014... 2015?
Devious and passively helpful.
say your offer and say "now tell me how much you think its worth" in the same line
