its the best one, I'm doing the "canon" job set-up, I took monk first, she had a nice bit of HP but once you unlock black mage and actually use some spells you realise how much ridiculous magic is in this version.
black mage is usually said to be one of the best jobs anyway because of how independent its own license board is, monk basically just serves as a means to give a shit load more HP.
