...you don't do this user, do you? Surely your little ego isn't THAT fragile, right user?
Of course not. I welcome the challenge, and if I failed it was because I am too weak.
I do it because I literally can't hit the guy who invaded me for around ten minutes while he can kill me. I don't know why but for 10 mins my hits don't connect. When my friend joins me he can attack and kill enemies for like 2 minutes without them reacting to him either. If I could attack the invader I wouldn't d/c myself.
everytime i get invaded i punt my router through the open window in fear of losing the 8740 souls i worked my ass off for. fuck invaders and fuck you. damn right i'll spend an extra 40 on a new router to deny you my past 3 hours of grind you tepid whore
First playthrough should always be offline and without summons.
If I don't want to deal with invaders, I just play offline.
I do what I want.
>tried multiple times to play through this
>drop it and go play something else
Must be me because I didn't have this problem with the first two games. I've got at least 400 hours on both.
No, I'm always alone and I always win. Nobody can defeat me. 3v1? It doesn't matter. I will kill all of you.
DaS3 is just shit, even worse than 2 which is also shit.
Imagine being this objectively wrong

tie a string around your dick light it like a firecracker, the gayness is waiting to explode out of you
it is about the ember not the souls
No, but I do have a pure spell build that makes people give up or pull the plug in the arena. It's not even hard to deal with they just don't know what to do.
No need to; I play unembered.
People would probably more inclined to participate in the PvP if the net code wasn't an absolute joke.
Seriously, I've lost count of the amount of times I've hit some cunt with my sword only for him to phased through it.
Or some guy swinging his sword in the air 3 meters next to me and is somehow hitting me.
Or getting back stabbed by someone in a different fucking room.
It gets old real fucking quick.
tbf that build is pure cancer if you're using the "constantly cast homing soulmass while running away with your back to the enemy" technique.
I've gone gold rank doing it and it just feels completely broken and out-of-place compared to the normal combat flow. It's a very anti-fun build to fight against.
Pressing the Roll button to get free i-frames is pretty hard bro. Only True Souls Veterans™ can perform such a complicated technique.
>First playthrough should always be offline
no
>and without summons.
yes
Of course not, I see LilZoom02 has invaded, run past all enemies and walk through the boss fogdoor and you'll never catch me.
Or I just kill you since 90% of you don't know how to play.

This is what I hated most about DS3, it's "References: The Game".
Not even close, the current spell lineup is
Affinity, Sunlight Spear, Profaned Flame, Pestilent Mist, Black Flame, Crystal Rain, and soul-great sword. Also has the followers torch as a back-up for quick step spammers
I flip-flop between spells a bit and try not to run, though sometimes I get stuck flipping through spells cause I forget where I am in the spell order.
How do you fags feel about Cinders?
Nah. A guy I know alt+f4s whenever he gets invaded though. It's really fucking pathetic. He has a shitfit whenever we play co-op and someone invades. I stopped playing video games with him after that.
For some reason, most of my luck in PvP scenarios has been me using a giant 2 handed weapon. Wanna know why? Because I can't get parried by the sweat master who's always got his parry shield ready to go.
I just walk up slowly and R1. And if I hit, I wait for the roll so I roll catch and send them to hell for wasting my time. It's fucking stupid how it works, but I ain't complaining. I really like playing through the PvE part of the game, but I am incredibly bad at PvP fights with most normal weapons because I feel like most of the good players know all the movesets in the game so they can parry easily.
play souls pvp? No of course I don't do that, it's not fun in the slightest
ah, normally when people say "spell build" they're referring to pure INT builds, you're using from all three schools. Not sure why people would have trouble as your build isn't optimized doing that.
Oh dear, another dogged contender....
made spells op, lets you hit on the firekeeper, and added in sekiro hair, so its pretty cool.
>hit everything with 3.5k dmg soul geyser
Nothing personal, dark souls 3.
Too fucking easy as a caster.
>NOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST EXPLOIT YOUR TECHNOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE TO OPT OUT OF AN HONORABLE DUEL FOR MY EGO TRIP!!!! EVERYBODY ON VEE WILL KNOW YOU ARE A YELLOW-BELLIED COWARD!
lol
>p2p multiplayer
why do this?
even on consoles this is the worst option for multiplayer, its insecure as fuck letting everyone inject cheats, lags like a cold turkey crack head with parkinsons and saves the devs like $100 a year renting a master server
In my case I think it's more about how the spells work together than anything else.
Sunlight Spear has a very fast cast/projectile speed that can catch people attempting to spam spells at me. It also has weird tracking and can wack mid-range rolling if they are panicing
Black Flame covers for all other spells, and with the pyro frame from the dlc has two hit boxes instead of one. The first hit box comes out so fast that it tends to cause people to input buffer R1 by mistake and get a free second cast
Crystal Rain creates distance, allowing me to eastus for free most of the time
Soul great sword roll catches after a black flame hit and tends to wack people trying to predict and run around black flame
Affinity is a descent opener and is generally useful if i have time to cast it
Pestilent mist is free damage if they try to run in when you cast it and is an absolute pain to deal with on pure melee builds
Profaned flame causes such embarrassment when hit by it that steam uninstalls itself and deletes all save game data from the poor victims computer and steam cloud.
You can also free aim it to bait rolls or try to catch people doing stuff, it's most effective if you can cast it right behind your opponent
I just chameleon and watch as they scour the level for me. Sometimes I take a break while doing it
