AAAAAHHHHH IS THAT MY GOD THE LIQUID AHHHH IM GOING INSANE
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH AM I WALKING BACKWARDS NIGGERMAN HELP OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'd lose it too if a skeleton threw putrid shit and blood at me
>enemy crits
>everyone gets fucking stressed
>ally crit
>one person loses stress
explain this
>surprise enemy
>you get to attack before then
>enemy surprises you
>your formation gets changed
Explain.
I SPEEL MY DRINK
ArtificialDifficulty
Nope
>Start playing
>Doing ok
>Level 2 squad upgraded all the way to the Pig Boss
>He does 75% AoE that stuns my entire team
>His go next
Help me Niggerman, my best squad just got gibbed
>encounter almost over
>have Vestal heal instead of finishing off last opponent
>team gets stressed that I'm wasting turns
>boss fight that goes completely against the combat design you've encounter up until now
>no way to know until you make the mistake
that fight is complete bullshit without a guide
dont hurt the lil oinker it tells you
I lost like 5 people because I refused to listen
I bought the game, but stopped playing after a couple of hours. It's ok, but the rules change easily and monsters don't abide by the rules players do, so you end up guessing what tactics work and what doesn't.
The buffoon is flummoxed
The darkest dungeon should hav e been randomly generated
Especially if you were already in the throes of a very stressfull situation to begin with
I would hate that shit at the best of time, much less when on an expedition into a dungeon where danger and madness lurks around every bend
>tfw I put almost 15 hours into this game over the free week
It's pretty good so I guess I'll buy it, somehow I have a feeling I barely even scratched the surface of this game
git gud
How the fuck is that acceptable game design? It'll take me at-least 2 hours to level up a squad to try again
>finally decide to kill The Sleeper
>first stage
>oh shit what the fuck
>second stage
>everyone is dead except for the grave robber on death's door
>gets deathblow'd
>boss was on 15 hp
FUCK
>but the rules change easily and monsters don't abide by the rules players do
Care to elaborate?
it's supposed to be though. it's meant to emulate the feeling of approaching an unknown enemy. you're supposed to get wiped multiple times throughout your playthrough.
Game is bullshit for 2 reasons.
1. Higher level characters can't do lower level dungeons
2. You cant run the final dungeon twice with the same character.
It just turns the game into a grindfest.
>1
Using high level heroes for low level dungeons would completely ruin the game. You could grind a hero to lvl 6 and just wipe all the bosses in one go.
With an upgraded stagecoach you can easily get new heroes for easy dungeons.
>2
Just play Radiant bro, lol
I think radiant mode changes both of those to an extent.
I know units are meant to be expendable but it still bothers me when games do this. If there had been some kind of hidden clue or investigation mechanic it would have made it more tolerable imo
bruh you can literally see the enemy's stats. the game is pretty open with the information. The bosses are about learning their style and adapting your team to it, thats why you can find them on an easy difficulty first.
except for speed, which isn't explained anywhere in the game and you have to look it up.
You can do both on radiant by default or tweak the settings to enable those on darkest but it's so laughably easy it's not even fun anymore. Both problems are solved by just taking a different team every week.
How could one man be this based?
IS THAT... AN EDGY JOKE?
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH NIGGERMAN SAVE ME
