Nintendo Gameboy Classic Edition
I WANNA NOW!
>$80
Jewtendo
I'd be interested in getting something like this, but itdl probably suffer in it's game listings for licensing reasons.
>classic gameboy gray only
>when Pokemon would be a mandatory addition to the system
Yup, fake.
Fake Nintendo would charge more.
Why bother when people only really remember it for 3-4 games
Assuming that people eventually hack it, it's still worth the price of admission.
A 3DS is still a better value, but fuck it.
NES Mini had 30 games. Gameboy Mini should have at least that much, particularly if they are doing GB and GBC
This would be shit without the advance games too
I’d buy that and keep that on my practice desk as a romantic memento to my countless years as a gamer since I couldn’t be bothered to actually play vidya in almost a year now.
EIGHTY burgers for pokemon and a dozen or so hour long games. Fucking lol.
Nintendo would probably make the charging port not transfer data or something just to prevent that from happening.
They'd need a lot of games packed in to make it worthwhile.
Even so, meh. I've got my original modded up so I don't really need something like this. Great for people that want that nostalgic hit though.
>Not getting an Analog Pocket with custom firmware. So goddamn poor.
>Not getting a classic GBA with custom IPS screen mod/battery mod and flashcart. So god damn technically deficient.
You suck, user.
The only thing a Gameboy Classic/Mini/whatever could have over the Pocket/actual GBA is if it had a sleep mode function, which it likely won't.
If OP is to be believed, Link Cable functionality from the charging port would require that the port can accept data
It could still be Nintendo proprietary and not actual USB though.
>Two dozen or so games.
>A dozen is 12
>Which means that 2x is 24
For a handheld with such a large library (especially with Color included), that is a shockingly low number. All the picks better be out-of-the-park stellar, but I'm expecting at least 1 or 2 duds.
why not gba? man i hate that it isnt considered retro.
honestly I would buy this depending on the list of games (or how easy it'd be to shove an SD card with every GB/GBC game on it in to the system)
Can these niggers make anything new instead of recycling 30 year old children games all the fucking time?
No GBA no buy
classic gameboy gray is the system color palette you nonce. please into reading comprehension, it says right there that you can switch between classic gameboy, pocket, and color mode.
assuming it's modeled after the classic gameboy, where would they put the shoulder buttons? the back?
The Mario games
The Wario games
Pokemon games
Tetris and some puzzle games
FF adventure
FF legends
Dk 93
DKC games
Zelda LA, OOA and OOS
Nemesis II

Any more?
>
they wouldn't. best hold out on the hopes of a gba classic.

Don't want that. Just put them on the Switch.
you're missing wario lan 2 and 3, but still a good lineup
You know there’s companies other than Nintendo righ?
If it actually has a decent screen, it would be absolutely worth it I think. Most decent handheld gameboy knockoffs being released from china still cost upwards of $60-100+, and the screens are usually a few generations behind (often even worse than the GBA SP).
