The game definitely gets better with more abilities and people, but sometimes games aren't for you
I'd say stick with it for a full run at least, but this is quite a unique game in a niche genre

the game over music is pretty good too but you never hear it for longer than like 5 seconds. I never heard it in full for the first time until I took a break on the game over screen while practicing the OHKO punch out fights.

i mean TW101 is an action game, your rankings reflect your skill and your skill gives credence to an opinion.

I like the regular missions more than the bosses.

The only problem is that with the constant gameplay shifts (some of which are very badly designed) it all gets really soured.

Bosses are by the most part just boring scripted "counter this move with specific unite morph" setpieces. There's one exception but they shat the bed with him.

003 and 004 are kind of the weakest levels imo, and neither bosses are that great.

i dont cry about casuals. I just love that the game includes an objective way to prove whether youre speaking out your ass or not. Its very telling that the actual shitposters never post their rank screen.

so its TW101 threads circa 2013 but in 2020. just goes to so how few people liked/cared about the game back then and even today.

i just went to get a Platinum on 005-B and i think i agree its my least favorite chapter. That shooting section sucks and the chapter is crazy long
