Atlus doesn't care about Shin Megami Tensei.
Atlus doesn't care about Shin Megami Tensei
They announced SMT V for the series' 25th anniversary and at this rate we won't get it until the 30th anniversary
lol implying Atlus is actually working on it.
>taking 6 years to develop a Switch game
yikes
Atlus is going to release a definitive edition of the dancing games featuring the new P5R waifu before SMT V.
If we are lucky
Didn't persona 5 take that long?
Hopefully they do a better job
The salt is going to be fucking unreal when it drops so it's worth the wait
>atlus announces persona 5 way too early and takes ages making sure it’s fully polished
this is fine
>atlus announces smt5 and takes ages making sure it’s fully polished
NOOOOOO ATLUS HATES SMT PERSONA RUINED EVERYTHING NOOOOOOOOO
But for real, what the hell is going on with SMT5? It's been 3 years since its announcement with barely any news. In interviews they have said that switching to UE4 would enable them to have faster iteration times since they wouldn't need to recompile shit everytime someone changes or places an asset in a level.
I don't understand the argument that P5 is overshadowing SMT V. All the P5 games to come out after the initial one have been lazy shovelware (Except maybe Q2, haven't played it)
>>atlus announces persona 5 way too early and takes ages making sure it’s fully polished
kek they just changed their minds and decided to port the game to PS4. Decided to relase both versions at the same time instead of keeping it PS3 exclusive for a 2014/2015 release
Capcom doesn't about Darkstalkers
all ps5s will come with a $50 voucher for watermelon and chicken
Atlus is giving SMTV to PlatinumGames.
People were also bitching about persona 5, what are you talking about?
>I don't understand the argument that P5 is overshadowing SMT V
Its simple. One got released, sold quite well, and then was rereleased with an updated version during the time it has taken waiting for SMTV.
One is vaporware, the other one is a success.
They announced it at the start of the development cycle to fit with the 25th anniversary. Now that p5r is done we can expect news this year and maybe a release next year
I wouldn't actually mind Platinum Games helping out with a Devil Summoner 3.
Fuck persona

No? P5's full-scale development started in 2012 after it got completely rebooted in late 2011 due to the earthquake in Japan, it then got delayed an extra year because of the PS4 version. Meaning that, while the game was technically in active development for 6 years, the current final product only really took around 4 years to develop from start to finish.
No one cares about Darkstalkers dude
People only like the titty vampire and the titty cat
But they have just released SMT: P5R
Platinum is too good for doing other company's franchises now
ATLUS DON'T CARE ABOUT US
yeah no I don't want to get virtually raped by a bunch of sweaty 28 year old men.
admitting that P5 has the best gameplay that could give you incentive on doing the social sim stuff because it would benefit the combat (that's also modeled after classic SMT with a few changes) is the true redpill.
>p5
>best gameplay
Imagine being THIS delusional holy fuck
dude I'd actually join but you just spam way too much bro
what more can you ask? it's practically the most SMT Persona has ever been.
>early 2000s joke
Ok, but it’s still press turn lite for babies. All royal added was 5,000 things to make the already piss easy p5 gameplay even easier.
Me neither.
Bring persona 5 royal : a new journey
99 percent of Zig Forums wasn't even born yet when this happened
>All royal added was 5,000 things to make the already piss easy p5 gameplay even easier.
that's true, especially the traits.
Merciless is still a tough one though.
Atlus are going to make a world where Persona 4 lasts forever
