Is there anything Deus Ex didn't correctly predict about the future?

An AI governemnt is actually a good idea if you think about it.
>regulations that do not only benefit those who can bribe the most politicians
>no more irrational garbage laws that are based on unscientific reasons like fear
>no personal interest like own buisness or possible relection
>fast and efficient decision making since computers can do more calculations than the hman brain even can and can store theoretically infinite amounts of data with instant recall
Removing the human factor could solve a lot of problems.
>An AI government is actually a good idea
I've been telling people all my life and no one takes me seriously, no human should and could handle so much power.
I'm still mad for leaving the AI from Fallout 3 alive and getting bad karma.
Yeah, but then the AI would realize all shitskins need to die for the world to flourish.
And that's a good thing.
AI is a meme. You won't be removing the human factor, it will simply do the wishes of the programmer/s
youtube.com
"Will we next create false gods to rule over us? How proud we have become, and how blind."
No it will realize all unproductive people need to die for the world to flourish which means the shitskins and you.
Yeah, the civil war will be started by leftist militias and darkies.
I think it's obvious humans have proven they are incapable of governing themselves.
The game sure is a treasure trove of quotes
>Removing the human factor
But Helios itself recognized it needs the human factor. That's why it merged with JC
Corona is a meme
Just get rid of politicians and bureaucrats altogether and let the police rule instead
And that's why I ddn't pick it, that's a flawed system.
Have fun in the stone age, grug. I'll be ascending, myself.
The youtube programmers don't know how youtube algorithm is, after so much machine learning, programs can just became it's own thing. Same with computer virus.
See it as chemo.
It kills all the parasites and actual humans get another try.
>I would like to show
>Cut open my skull
>Look into my head
>I don't know why I'm so harsh
>I could be so brash
>I'm going to clash
Rhetoric--and you believe it! Don’t you know where those slogans come from?
I know video games focus on tyranny, rioting, and all that shit a lot but this one is way too fucking accurate. To think, we were raised on these stories only to become part of one.
Why contain it?
CAUSE I FEEEEEEEEEEEL
The Euro-skepticism is a bit silly.
How so? There's no dissent these days, everything is accepted at every level. What is a rebel anymore?
No. globalism a shit.
ICARUS HAS FOUND YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>removing human factor from human structures
How would an AI handle communities, differences in subjective values? Differences create conflict, therefore it's only logical that "culture" needs to be eradicated. Helios merging with JC didn't make it flawed, it actually gave it viability as opposed to retarded matrix-tier fantasy bullshit.
We even have a wealthy industrialist/philanthropist who wants to break away from the O L D M E N of the past and merge humanity with AI.
>dickslurping the cops
lmao
gay shit, icarus is a homo
The underclasses are starting to get desperate. Your turn.
>tfw the dimensional merge was real
Desperate
reminder that not even ben-motherfucking-garrison will side with pigs
Okay now post the unedited version. Zyklon Ben's only mission on this earth is the extermination of the negroid race.
you can't remove the human factor, the AI will be created by a human. even if they can't directly steer where it goes (i.e. bringing it under their control) the starting conditions they establish will continue to have an influence all the way down.
then there's the question of when the AI comes to an objective answer that fails common sense: the example of an AI created to maximize paperclip production deciding to destroy humanity because humans might try to turn it off. a clever objective solution to the task it was programmed for, but not exactly one geared to human needs.
finally is there are rarely objective answers to the most fundamental political questions. (who gets what, when do they get it, why do they get it and how do they get it?) much of the pointlessness of present politics is rooted in pretending that we found the objective answer in the 80s-90s. it's unsurprising that political parties selling incredibly similar products need to spend the most on advertising. it's a coke/pepsi situation.
Realistically they overall do MUCH more good than bad, but it is easy and more outrage worthy to point at a handful of bad incidents and claim the whole thing is bad. Much like how people point at a white cop killing someone and then claim all wypipo and all cops must be removed cause they bad and it's tha system and tyrone was just about to turn his life around and let's go smash up some jewelry stores and steal some tvs for "justice". Notice how I don't apologize for the corrupt and shitty cops who should have their badges taken away, but I'm sure someone will call me a bootlicker anyway just because I don't paint millions of people in an organization with the exact same brush over a few of them being cunts.
That's also an old Zig Forums habit, if a game has 1 glaring problem we point it out and put all the lenses on it and use it to declare the whole game is shit, anyone who likes it is shit, the people who created it are shit, the platform it's on is shit, etc.
One less for him to kill and he hates it
