Does the mahjong game have an online mode?
I am tired of nyaagers on mahjongsoul.

it looks like it

You'll never escape nyaggers, even on Tenhou.

>blackjack and solitaire
>no poker
>no war
>no go-fish
>no hearts
>no old maid
>no cribbage
>no whist
Someday someone will make the portable card vidya of my dreams. But not today.

It has texas hold 'em and war though. Shame about hearts

I missed war on the list. I really want something that'll let me play cribbage on the go, though. Everyone I used to play it with in my family is gone now.

Isn't go fish just black jack for kids?

Seems like a handy game to have when you want a chill game with others

>no poker
wut

Not really, it's about trying to complete sets of 2 or 4 (depending on how you play) and being able to clear your hand. I guess it's closer to Rummy in that sense.
In truth though, it's about learning you can't trust your siblings not to lie about having any sevens when you asked for them ONE TURN AGO NO YOU DIDN'T JUST PICK IT UP ASSHOLE THERE WERE TWO IN YOUR HAND

This could work. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Maybe I have two kids and it may make the summer holidays more bearable.

>no spades
>no rook
>no 5 or 3 card draw
>no mexican sweat
>dominos is probably just a blocking game so no scoring games or train games
>no egyptian ratscrew
>no hearts
Why don’t these compilation games ever include any good games? It’s always the same shit

Yes itvdoes!

You think any of the 8 year olds who are going to try riichi for the first time are going to be any better at it than your average nyagger?

Poker is garbage unless you're playing for real stakes.

holdem* is garbage

I'll be honest, I haven't played many poker variants, but you'd have to enlighten me what poker game is fun without stakes.

It'll probably have even more nyaggers than there

It has poker and it has war

Personally I enjoy 7 card stud and rummy.
Holdem sucks because there is very little room for strategy and is designed to be as casual as possible for amerimutts.

posting this again because people should be warned how much is locked away when playing online

youtu.be/Ma-Svb_Nbcw?t=387
LOCAL PLAY:
>3 games available when playing with 3 people
>2, yes t w o, games available when playing with 4 people
ONLINE PLAY:
>8 games available with 4 people
>9 games available with 3 people playing

imagine spending $60 on a game that doesnt have 4 person bowling or darts

I'm fine with losing a hand or two to an unskilled player, the issue is those fucking noises that cat makes, like it's proud it won a hand with one han.

>60$

i'll be damned, i just assumed it would be $60 you're right

all the other points still stand

New Action 52 looks great

On the flip side you can play any card games locally with two players on one console

This clip never gets old

mahjong isn't about being first it's about not being last

>It's the little details, too – the narrated game introductions, the super-chill soundtrack, and the glossy presentation.
>Here's the devious part: Nintendo has a little tier-based incentive for clearing every game.
>You'll get a basic green checkmark on the selection screen when you finish a game for the first time. You'll earn bronze, silver, and gold medals on the menu in exchange for beating increasingly adept AI challengers. The final prize, a trophy, only comes when you've mastered a game. Sometimes that means winning once against a group; other times, like in Bowling, that means getting certain scores.
>Unlockable Nintendo-themed cards for Hanafuda and Matching (memory) are a nice bonus gesture.

They mention in that very review it feels like a 2-player game, which has 44 games online and 47+1 offline, but having the Guest Pass/Download Play to basically split 47+1 games by $20 each for another local person is a good deal.

Yea it looks like a fun time.

Rummy isn't poker. And I don't know how stud fixes the inherent problem with no-stakes games, which is that it's next to impossible to get more than two people together who are willing to invest themselves in the outcome because they're playing for Who's Line points.

But it's obvious you were just grinding an axe against Hold 'Em and don't actually have a view on no-stakes poker.
