I'm still not sure if it's funny or annoying. They went out of their way to make a unique character design and animate her in cutscenes when her role in the story was so minimal. Then they go and put her in FEH as the first promotional character despite her being a generic boss.

Of course in FEH you can increase support with her like all other characters (system is actually pretty boring but whatever) Interestingly her full support + lvl 40 quote is her basically complaining about lusting for your dick while considering it basically bestiality. So you get the psycho clown version of a proposal by her. She's also the blatant titty fanservice girl and remains basically pointless. I just don't get where they were going with this character.

Honestly it feels like the Agarthans were supposed to have a greater role or not be as completely irrelevant as they turned out to be. Generic cultist goons always suck in Fire Emblem but it feels like this was the closest we'd have ever gotten to doing something unique with them.

In Fates there's two bosses that in gen 2 recruitment maps that stand out: Cadence and a male wyvern unit(Forgot his name).
Unlike other bosses, they have their own special cut-in and even have voiced dialouge during battles! That's not even all. They have unused blushing portraits with unused voiced dialogue similiar to the playable cast of units.
It seems they were originally playable at some point in the game but reduced to bosses in the final build. Which makes sense even more realizing there's playable male and female of each class....except for male wyvern(female wyvern is Beruka) amd female theif(Male is Niles)
For Echoes, Berkut and Fernaded(The guy who betrayed Clive) were originally supposed to join Alm at some point. They have everything a playable character has...dialouge and even stats. This would also make more sense since Berkut feels like was randomly shoved into the game.

I really think the Agarthans should have hammed it up more, Kronya fit in well as the psycho clown. Solon should have upped his game, survived the timeskip and basically caused chaos with rampaging insane villagers/soldiers.
I actually have no idea who writes for FEH, but I'd put them on suicide watch pronto because writing waifus for a gacha game is pure cringe.

Getting nuked was fun, fighting giant robots was fun. Fighting another red you-know-what isn't. I think the problem isn't that the slithers are obviously evil, its just that they're not charismatically evil. Fire Emblem should drop grey morality, they can't do it. They should embrace larger than life characters, make it thrilling.
