I cant stop dreaming about wow, it's quite annoying because the game is shit

I dream about WoW just as you described WITH music of my old playlist that I don't even know the names of being played in my dreams. I can feel my stomach turn and drop as I watch myself fighting there. And I wake up humming the tune and I can never remember enough key words to find it.

What was the best era for pvping in your opinion?

I played arms since vanilla and all of them have highs and lows. Even in Cata at the warrior's supposed lowest points it was still interesting to play. If I were to pick a time it would have to be WotLK before the Icecrown Citadel was released. Everyone had a plethora of tools to play with and master making fights either intricate long drawn out mind-games or explosive cut-throat moments of crisis. There were mechanics under mechanics so that if you can master spell interrupt, with charge stuns: you were average. But if you knew how to use Overpower's Unrelenting Assault on top of it all you suddenly find that you're baseline is 3-4x stronger than the next guy and healer don't understand how to fight you. I could go on with Bladestorm 'just timing' stuns and reflections, and the old Second Wind to meta of all the details to force the opponent to assist me through pressure and personality that you'd be able to express and feel from each other. Those were good days; can't find that stuff in today's WoW. All you can be is a above average at best.

i miss when dot snapshotting as a thing, i quit when they removed it because it made dot reliant classes completely braindead like affliction my favourite spec.

I'm talking about the Sentinel glaives from Darkshore you utter mongoloid. They're iconic weapons for the NE Sentinels, and they're glaives only, so only Demon Hunters, the most reviled class in the races history, is the only class that can use them

The setting used to be good, fucking old WOW was fucking enchanting, even the RTSs, due to the music and art direction.

But trying to appeal to asian whale markets oversaturated the game, it became more and more needlessly bombastic and loud, everything has to be 'epic' to the point where nothing is no longer epic, everything is just dull and boring and catering to world firsters and making everything else a mindless slog ruined the setting, they even fucked up the timeless classic that was WC3 with reforged as well with all its soulless changes.

Regardless, we can still go back, the RPG books are still good, the old music still exists, and classic exists if you ever just want to go chill and grind in old azeroth again without the retarded cataclsym changes turning every zone into a giant meme like CSI: Westfall and Redridge: First Blood
