I had a dream that I was contracted by some publishing company to write an official Harry Potter / Game of Thrones crossover novel (as retarded as that all sounds - dream logic, whatever). I kept trying to get in touch with George RR Martin to ask him questions about GoT and he kept condescending to me and trying to avoid me.

I'm thinking he was responsible for the Elden Ring delays, lads.

I've seen Elden ring gameplay, it's pretty great.

I can't share any screens or major info, but gameplay will be shown and when it does you'll know I was right. There's a cool new quirk to the targeting reticle when you lock onto an enemy that is a real neat as fuck improvement. When you lock onto an enemy's limb/section (yes), you get the dot and then a couple rings around it, the rings show the health and stamina/posture of that limb (there's some new sekiro like hybrid of stamina and posture system in elden ring)

Also, you have no health bar. Instead, you take hits. You fortify your limbs to give them more hit resist. An enemy can damage just your feet for example and cause you to lose movement speed. (You need to jump over these attacks) When you suffer fatal damage to each section of your body this is when you actually die. However there's also a resurrect sekiro like function that is available should you have played well and replaced how Soul Form worked in Demon's Souls.

Dismemberment/Destruction is a major major centric point of Elden Ring. Tail cuts? If you only knew, Miyazaki is going to town on you lot, even I'm excited to see what they show as all I saw was some marketing b slice material and raw gameplay, nothing to do with story or anything, so I'm almost as in the dark as you lot.

Honestly it's a good thing, everyone always complain that they skip a lot of content because of time restraints.

This time maybe they actually take the time they need to complete it and make a great game.
