Is it any good?
Is it any good?
Had to get used to the weight at first, but yeah its a really good mouse for the price
good build quality, decent price, and I actually find the side buttons really useful
but the weight is a real killer. it's absurdly heavy compared to most other mice.
It's treated me very well for three years so far.
Really wish there was a version without the g7 and g8 buttons. I like 3 side buttons, but don't need the top ones. Also its heavy.
I actually use G7 a lot for grenades, but G8 just isn't comfortable to press in just about any situation.
No. Logitech has shit switches.
I like it. I use the extra buttons a lot of FFXIV.
Is this a running joke with this mouse? You all are aware that you can take out the weights right?
I actually just bought this after my last ones scroll wheel got fucked. It's pretty nice. My only problem is that I keep accidentally hitting the g7 button, which lowers the dps. It's partially my own retardation, but it's annoying nonetheless.
it's heavy even with no weights.
scroll wheel was acting funny on me week 1, it's fine otherwise though.
it's STILL absurdly heavy if you remove the weights.
Even if you do the meme and drill a shitload of holes in the plastic to reduce weight it's still soundly heavier than most of its competitors can get and much, much heavier than ultrralights
disable the dpi change buttons. You shouldn't really need to change your dpi on the fly.
>it's heavy even with no weights
>it's STILL absurdly heavy if you remove the weights
I must be a shitter at choosing peripherals because i've had even heavier mice in the past(to which i got used to) and this one feels good. I did remove all the weights out of it though.
It may be that i just need to buy better and lighter mice in the future.
I got the glorious model D recently and the difference is huge. I still use the 502 (I have a really old one though) for general browsing and non FPS games. But yeah an ultralight mouse does feel nice for FPS games.
also g502 without weights is 120g, the model D is 70.
>But yeah an ultralight mouse does feel nice for FPS games.
That explains it. I barely play fps, haven't played OW in more than 6 months. Mostly played WoW with really high sensitivity and Freelancer. I barely move the mouse and when i do, it's with the fingers only, no whole arm movement like i see on twitch.
Its amazing, had it for a year so far. Not one single problem and it feels great
Not those guys but the G502 is objectively heavy by mouse standards. Even the old G5 I had was a ton lighter. I notified it immediately after getting it and I've gotten used to it over the years but wish it was like 1/3 lighter.
I've had it for a few years and it's pretty good. Recently switched to the M65 and I think it's a tiny bit better than the G502.
extremely heavy, clunky, terrible metal scroll wheel
please for the love of god just try out a G703 / G Pro Wireless, it's impossible to go back to heavy wired crap
It's great. I don't understand the posts about weight, how much of a limp wristed faggot are you that fucking mouse weight matters at all
No. The extra buttons are useless. Everything else is nice though.
I'm using it right now, it's pretty good
no matter how strong you are, a heavy mouse offers resistance that you don't want if you're shooting for perfect twitch accuracy.
had mine for years, it's great
even Linus recommends it
I hate it for years and wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it. The mouse itself is not bad and is comfortable but a real pain in the dick to clean with all of its little creases and shit, mousewheel is completely shit and somehow "eroded". Somehow cheap 10$ mouse have better scrollwheels than this.
>this logitech tard again
No thanks, doubleclick yourself faggit
i think it's funny that people think this mouse is heavy.
Because it is objectively heavy: 121 grams without weights.
For reference Logitech's "flagship" mouse, the GPW weighs 80g. Honeycomb shell design mice weigh 50-70g.
Define good
What is good and who is bad
It can be good for one and bad for another one
Who decides what is good and what is bad?
Maybe things we see good this are bad things and bad things are good
Think about it
Imagine being a limp-wrist fag
???
I have additional weight in it
DO you lift your mous or what
i get it you read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of YouTube videos before you settled on your hole filled model o. we're proud. but 121g is not fucking heavy.
ITT: Shitters
Pretty much no top-tier players in any competitive shooter use heavy mice, in fact they all use light mice and there's a reason for that
>using wireless technology in 2020
Bet you retards use wifi instead of a wired ethernet connection too
Ok boomer
The best wireless mice literally have LESS latency than most wired gaming mice.
I've been using one for some time, and it has plusses and minuses.
The extra buttons are great, useful. No issues with function after heavy usage. That said, it seems a little too easy to hit that button that fiddles with sensitivity without even realising it, and the cord gets stuck on everything, including itself, at which point it (the fabric casing, not the wire nor its rubber casing) frays badly and catches itself into weird loops.
I must be going insane, because moving from my old mouse to this one, it became considerably lighter and I rather missed the heft of the old mouse.
It was wireless, though, so that's probably a big factor.
