How will they make his death in Tekken 8 sad and melancholic like his fathers?

They won't. Kazuya is the "main" character of the series, so hes not going anywhere. I doubt they have the balls to pull a Liu Kang.

>implying Heihachi is dead

Well the next game is set up to be Jin vs Kazuya so you think Jin will die instead?

Probably some shit with Jun coming back, calming his evil side showing that he actually has a good soul that got corrupted by the actions of his father blabla blabla

>Well the next game is set up to be Jin vs Kazuya so you think Jin will die instead?
Of course he will die. We're gonna see Jun vs Kazuya end as the true final battle.

Jun will be the new Angel. Fucking calling it.

After two seiyuu's died you just know Heihachi is truly cursed and dead.

>Kazuya without Devil
Yaaawn

Kino box art

>sad and melancholic like his fathers
tekken 7 had the most forced, disjointed and fucking weird story mode of any recent video game
all that melodramatic garbage for no cool ending cgs for each characters, no fun offline side-modes and barebones ass game

I'm pretty sure Jin is (at least now). They even tried to shift the focus from Jin to Lars in 6 but 7 seems to want to work against it.

Jin is seen as the light-bringer.

They won't.
Kazuya will find a way to separate himself from Devil, even though I don't know how since he merged with him before 4

Kazuya has been without Devil since 4. He literally absorbs him in Honmaru

Say what you will but the ending is certified KINO

>some people unironically care about the story of Tekken
acquire some taste into something worth caring about. Thank me later

tekken 2 was my first game that i ever owned. i have an attachment to these characters no matter how shit the story gets.

>Jin is seen as the light-bringer.
Jin causes more chaos than saving the world. The only one who's gonna be the light bringer it's Jun herself.

ur so cool user

This.

>Jin causes more chaos than saving the world.

He had an explanation for that. He was misguided but the effort was mostly the actions of a protagonist.

And in any case, it seems to have blown over anyway.

I wish Tekken's story was more cohesive. Tekken 4 set the bar too damn high.

yeah but still Kazuya has a more iconic playstyle than Jin and he's one of the most played characters
plus what will we do without kazuyafags c'mon, we love them at the end of the day

They said the Mishima saga was over and they'll be focusing on other things, so no. I for one want more adventures of King and trying to run his orphanage while balancing the whole marduk/ armour king thing

Hei and Kaz beating the shit out of each other was cool, but you're right. I still don't feel bad about Heihachi and if you don't care about them, tough shit.

You know this will lead to Jun return to shoot shit with Kazuya and Jin now. Since Heihachi is written off Kazuya is a true final boss in probably the last Tekken installment.

>last Tekken installment
As long as it's popular, Tekken will be produced. Story doesn't matter much.

>Story doesn't matter much.
It is since T3 and it's now today.

do people really care about the stories for these games

Yes.

Soul Calibur has a rather expansive history (and it's more coherent than Tekken's).
