First time player here, I just left Satori Marsh and I am 32lvl, am I overleveled already? Should I turn on the expert mode and level down?
Also I heard that there are subquests that are giving new skills, how to tell them apart from the generic ones? Yesterday I did some long chain quest on Satori Marsh for a lone Nopon in a cave, are chained quests like this worth doing for special rewards?

32 is a bit high but probably fine, Reckless Godwin is the hardest thing in the marsh and he's only 31

And yeah, quest chains are worth doing, some of them unlock new skill trees and moves later on

I was 28 and barely beat its boss (it was lv 28)
next area everyone is 30-32

no big deal OP

Is that an actual screenshot from the game? Is this 2007?

>how to tell them apart from the generic ones?
generic ones are like

Monster quest 1 - part 2

"important" quests are named like
The brave girl's book

You're better off looking at a guide for those new skill tree subquests if you absolutely have to get them.

Why is every character awesome besides Shara? Shulk has tons of positionals and utility skills, Reyn has big dick burst damage, Dunban does the full combo on his own and dodges everythign, Melia has crazy burst damage and insane dots, Riki has tons of dots and debuffs, Seven has literally everything.

Sharla is very useful early game and becomes less useful later on

>Why is every character awesome besides Shara?
because you only think in terms of damage

I switched her out for Dunban as soon as I could and literally never used her again besides the few times you're forced to use her.

lmao that image. So glad I already modded the game.
One question - are these pics fake or what? I've seen many XC2 images that look a million times worse than my game did, even unmodded.

they are undocked.

I don't play docked, so that's what I was referring to. My game never looked close to something like that.
Your Switch is probably broken.

What PS2 game is this?

I'm pretty sure the switchs screenshot button also lowers AA for some reason

Yeah, saw that image before. My game never looked close to that. Get your Switch replaced or fixed.

why do people keep acting like the switch isnt a portable console

>why do people keep acting like the switch isnt a portable console
it literally does not fit in any pocket

I'll take some screenshots myself and compare them. Majority of posts here are disingenuous.

You have to be 18 or above to post on this website.

I think the switch compresses the screenshots, so they usually looks like shit. XB2 has also been patched since release to be more stable.

Get better pockets nerd. Fits just fine in mine.

Pretty sure it's from the Switch. The resolution isn't very high on these games.

Yes. The game can drop resolution, HARD.
504-720p docked
378-540p undocked

Play with expert mode on if you're doing a lot of side quest because they give you way too much bonus EXP.

DE doesnt run at a good resolution on the switch, only 504-720p docked depending on whats on screen
but to make things even worse the switch compresses screenshots heavily which makes things look worse

and there is NOTHING wrong with it

The sharpening filter is a bigger problem. Also the fact that XCDE runs at the lowest Switch clock speeds, presumably to achieve graphical parity with XC2 while having more battery life.

Even increasing the minimum horizontal resolution to never drop lower than 960p, it still maintains solid 30 fps 99% of the time.

granted, that top image is 200GB+ just to load in a single 5 minute demo

>Should I turn on the expert mode and level down?
Whenever you find the combat too easy, sure. You can always reclaim the co later.
>Also I heard that there are subquests that are giving new skills, how to tell them apart from the generic ones?
They'll usually request a specific party member to start them, however most are usually hidden behind pre-req quests or need a * requirement with that area, these aren't told to you.

In general though just do the quests if you want to, not many really have great rewards or change the map and even the extra skill trees aren't that amazing. If you really wanna get all the secret stuff without just doing all quests you're best off using a guide.

it's not "cope" when it's a fact
I don't even like pokeshit, but you're a gullible fool if you think any game releasing on xbox series x and ps5 is going to have as much minute detail as that EU5 demo
