This is just silly. Killing Smough first is quite tough, but killing Ornstein first makes it on par with any other DaS boss fight.

its actually ridicliously easy if you beat ornstein 1st then just keep running away from smough and attack him everytime he swings his hammer

DaS3 is disproportionately hard for some people. mainly people who aced the first one.
try cheesing the game with a greatshield and straight sword combo. once you get the hang of it, move to something bigger. like not Ornstein's greataxe of the ringed knight paired swords.

It's the fastest one of the three, but in exchange your roll takes very little stamina compared to the previous games. Going over 70% equipment load is playing the game on hardmode.

Well, 3 was among the easiest for me. 1 was way harder since I was introduced to the type of game, when I got a hold of how the game worked the learning curve leveled.

I played this game the exact same way i played DS 1, claymore only, and i beat this boss first try. The difficulty of these games is insanely exaggerated.
