>Need only Tsunami from Duke Fishron
>Get everything BUT Tsunami
Aaaaaaaaugh

Any tips on Plantera? Those creepers murder the shit out of me

Kill the creepers first. The plantera "head" itself is literally a non issue, it's the little guys blocking your way that really get you killed.

>journey mode is creative mode
>master mode is a waste of time
Expertchads we cannot stop winning
Master ruined me and for a pretty long time I thought I accidentally played on Normal before I beat up a boss and it dropped a treasure bag

a larger arena to run around in really helps. If you don't have to pass near any of the creepers while kiting, they won't destroy you. Semi homing attacks work well against it, use any of those if you have them. So Crystal Darts, Shadowflame Knife, Rainbow Rod, etc.

Expert mode is easy after you've experienced master mode.

christ I actually fell for a mimic in the underworld

>tfw have death scythe, megashark, rainbow rod, and blade staff summon loadout
classes are retarded

seems like a normal summoner loadout to me

What materials do I need for a Mirror's Edge themed establishment? Do I absolutely need pearlstone bricks?

Painted adamantium blocks?

>didn't even try to get the blade staff drop and only use it because why not
>"you're a summoner"

is it just me or are the drops from the blood moon fishing enemies absurdly shitty

Blood thorn is good pre-plantera.

Still more enjoyable, Master mode is just stat bloat and once you've experienced it once there's really no point unless you fell for the master tediumcore meme.

It costs way too much mana

It's more fun with the additional accessory slot.

>expert mode runs
>always get rod of discord around 150 chaos elementals in
>finally do master mode
>might as well get the rod asap, probably gonna need it
>actually put some effort into making a grinding spot, even put up a garden gnome
>450 elementals later, no rod
>fuck it, let's get the black spot and kill some mechanical bosses
>some time later, finally beat destroyer, get some conveyor belts to finish the grinding spot
>as soon as I'm done placing the conveyor belts, I get a rod
the fucking desire sensor in this game, man

>Release bullet hell boss that has a special drop for beating it while it can oneshot you
>Add in a mode with a drop that trivializes it alongside it
How did anyone think the Black Spot was a good idea.

haven't played terraria since it came out, can i be a wizard now?

Yes, very easily

what do i need to start basic wizarding?

>here's a guide to end your run prematurely
zzz

I suppose you prefer retards saying the boss is retarded and that they cheesed the fight.

First, collect fallen stars that crash down at night. Collect lots of them. You can craft them into mana crystals that increase your max mana, up to 200. After that, you'll want to look for magic weapons, or craft them. One of the best earlygame weapons is the Diamond Staff, crafted using diamonds and platinum bars. You pair that with magic armor and accessories, like a Diamond Robe or Jungle Armor, which reduces mana cost and increases damage, the Mana Restoration Band, which increases your mana regeneration speed, and potions like Mana Power Potion, and Mana Restoration Potion, and you'll be firing off spells no problem.

I have the same problem, I don't think the event is balanced for expert or master. The mobs are stupidly tanky and kill the crystal fast

You're supposed to do it at least 5 times before tier 2 old one's army to have enough defender medals for a tier 2 staff
Yes it's stupid

What's the best staff to grab? seems like the balista is just straight up better than the rest due to pierce and its damage output

I like the 7th accessory slot, and for some reason the Relics appeal to my collecting gallery/museum autism.

Not him but lightning aura is for DPS and ballista is for knockback.
