Being able to play games WITHOUT people seeing me play it is a reason I use GoG. I like being able to play games and feel like I'm just by myself without it being advertised to the rest of the world or being connected to any form of network.

Even in offline mode things like achievements are still uploaded to your activity. You would have to private everything and be set to offline to attain what I can from just buying from GoG instead.

I live in Mexico and there's no regional pricing, so I have to get all my games from Steam.

I just buy games from Steam but pirate DRM free GOG copies.Best of both worlds, except for games that rely on frequent updates those are a hassle.

It's annoying that they're selling Dead Space even though it's shit on PC without a controller.

The fix doesn't work on the GOG version, and really, the fix wasnt' great to begin with.

If a steam sale starts that is literally in the same timeframe as a gog sale you wont find any pirates in Steamsales threads
