>year 2000
>friend asks if i can could lend him mario party 2
>sure
>ask him if i could have majora's mask in return
>no problem
>a week later
>never played majora's mask because i also needed the stupid expansion pak in order to play the game
>he didn't tell me
>i return the game
>he asks how majora's mask was with a big shit eating grin
>want to puch him so bad
>but he's 6 years older than me
Anyone with similar experiences?
My dad bought it for me on christmas when I was like 10 but I couldn't play it because of that stupid expansion pak, so he went out and bought it for me as soon as the stores opened
Nope, because even as a kid, I researched stuff before hand. Through magazines and such.
I had a friend who bought Donkey Kong 64, he hated the game and sold it off a week later. I didn't have an expanion pak to play Majora's Mask, so without asking I switch the expansion pak with the jumper pak. He never noticed.
>bro can i lend a game from you
>yes sure but let me first look in 20 gaming magazines that i bought/have for a game that just came out and is one of two games with the ridiculous requirement of a expanion pak because i lie on a vietnamese cuisine board about puta porn
Do you have autism? Or why are you lying?
You friend did the right thing Donkey Kong 64 is fucking trash
Neither. I'm simply not a stupid American who did not keep up with the news.
Clearly you've never had to use the MS DOS either.
>thread is about n64
>ms dos
Not the guy you replying to but are you stupid?
He pretty much said he used to read magasines as a kid, so by the time Majoras came out he knew what an expansion pak was from ads or stuff he read hyping about it for most likely months.
>he wasn't already an idort in 1998
I had a PC, N64, PS1 and GBC by the end of the 90s, and gaming mags were the #1 source of vidya info. EVERYONE knew about the Expansion Pak in 2000, and that you needed it to run the last great games on N64: PD and MM.
Just shows how pathetic the Spongebob gegeneration is.
