Honestly, the silly stretching of what a proper/reasonable character design is ends up being part of why I like Passionlip and Melt's designs. They're intentionally exaggerated and weird, with distorted proportions thanks to their dumb artificial limbs and retarded everything else. It's stupid, but people need to go outside the character design comfort zone more.
Just make sure it looks pleasing.
