Dunno.
Every time I make a thread about it, it either dies with 0 replies or people respond with the stupidest of non-complaints.
No modern game has more soul, better sound design, better gunplay.

Even on sale it isn't cheap and has a steep learning curve, putting them both together doesn't help grow a playerbase.

god i want to FUCK the bomb lance

>steep learning curve
What are you even talking about? There's no steep learning curve. Everything is intuitive and easily understood/digested.
Are you confusing brainless zoomer retard faggots wanting to run and gun as loudly as possible and getting shot in the face as a result with a learning curve?

fine ill buy the game nick

i dont have any friends to play it with

There's a Quick Play mode that consists of all solo players.

im just going solo, fuck it, at least you can select to have a matchmaking with only duos or solo, at least you dont lose your equipment in the first 11 levels, its probably like tarkov where solo feels hard but its actually the best way to play the game for an experienced player

>Are you confusing brainless zoomer retard faggots wanting to run and gun as loudly as possible and getting shot in the face as a result with a learning curve?
Basically yeah

The top meta for the game is anything but intuitive and involves abusing every single mechanic that you possibly can, like the broken movement, broken weapon swapping animations as well as various cheese spots around the map.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game, nearing 1000 hours put into it, but while it's an amazing game at it's core, there's plenty of rough and unpolished parts. For me the number one gripe right now is how shit the movement is, it feels like everyone is sliding around on treadmills.

>broken movement
haha what
>broken weapon swapping animations
haha what
>cheese spots
lmao what are you talking about
what's your steam name? i'd like to see your one thousand hours because that's a load of bullshit.
>everyone is sliding around on treadmills
Are you posting in the right thread?
Nobody is experiencing this, there are no threads about it and nobody is talking about it on the discord.
It sounds like you're just making up shit to be frank.

just like any game desu, tarkov meta is also abusing peak advantage and arm shots bunnyhopping,

Are you new or just retarded?

>broken movement
There is no momentum in the game and you can turn at 180 degree angles while sprinting without losing any speed. The crouching animation is almost instant and you can spam it without any cooldown. You can bunnyhop infinitely (they made it a little but you can still do it) and you have ridiculous air control.
>broken weapon swapping animations
Weapon swapping is faster than any animation for actually cycling a weapon. Constantly swapping between 2 revolvers for example will give you a faster fire rate than firing and cocking 1 revolver continuously. There is literally no reason to use bolt actions because just using a single shot rifle and then swapping to a pistol is quicker than actually cycling the bolt.
>cheese spots
There are literally hundreds of spots on both maps where you can look through some tiny crack in the wall without the slightest of getting spotted on the other side. Not to mention the glitch where you can cause buildings to stop rendering and just wallbang everyone.
>everyone is sliding around on treadmills
Refer to the first point

I said I'm nearing 1000 hours.

The first complain is basically 90% of fps, even in tarkov you have instant strafe and crouch, at least hunt has good network

The only, games with inertía that i know about are sandstorm, arma 3, hell let loose, squad

The thing with hunt is that the player animation are terrible. The meta right now in regards to movement is to just run forward while bunnyhopping and flailing your mouse in random directions which, combined with the slow bullet speed, makes it basically impossible to hit you because you are constantly and instantly changing trajectory.

In games like Tarkov shitty movement like this ultimately doesn't matter that much because the most effective weapons are all full auto or at least semi. 95% of weapons in hunt are slow firing, single shot or single action weapons with very limited ammo.

I'm not shitting on the game, I still think Hunt is one of the fps games that has come out in recent years, but that doesn't mean that I can't point out it's flaws, I don't know what that shill got so defensive about it.

> I still think Hunt is one of the fps games that has come out in recent years

Meant to say one of the best.

I enjoy hunt but i fucking suck at it.

Ye, the same. I play it with friends just for laughs and my k/d is somewhere near 1.3.

I've had some pretty kino western-like moments in this game. I love it.

My friends also suck, but that makes it even better.

>try hard full loadout with all slots full, me and squad die before we barely get any shots out

>Go full retard with absolute shit guns, get double bounty and 9+ kills

Every time

What you guys run with bomb lance, pax, upper, mosin with qm?

Nobody likes this grindy battle royale light, and pvpve is actual cancer.
Most players who would be interested in a game about blasting swamp monsters with old weapons end up disappointed when instead camping for other players and having janky gunfights with sweaty fags.
Forget the showdown part, just make a game Hunt.

Escape from tarkov is also trash.

Lebel >>>> Mosin
Fight me.

FUCK IMMOLATORS
SERIOUSLY
Hounds are shit too but fucking immolators, then you are ready for them they never show up but when you only have sharp weaponry equipped or are in a fucking fight with someone else they will aggro from halfway across the fucking map.

>I'm shit at multiplayer games, I just want another generic co-op zombie blaster

Fuck off. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that others can't like it.

>There is no momentum in the game
100% false. There absolutely is acceleration and deceleration.
>you can turn at 180 degree angles while sprinting without losing any speed.
To do a full 180 degree spin, you would need to have your sensitivity through the roof and would make precising aiming extremely difficult thus negating any kind of advantage that sort of maneuver might give.
>The crouching animation is almost instant and you can spam it without any cooldown.
Yes, and?
>You can bunnyhop infinitely
Dude, again, what the fuck are you talking about? There are huge movement penalties. You can't bunnyhop infinitely. You can't bunnyhop at all. Do you even know what bunnyhopping is? The movement and stamina penalties incurred from jumping are huge and going to get you killed if you try pulling that shit in a gun fight.
>you have ridiculous air control.
This is a design choice.
You post all of these examples as if they're not functioning as they should be. None of these are 'broken'.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's fucking broken, retard.
>Constantly swapping between 2 revolvers for example will give you a faster fire rate than firing and cocking 1 revolver continuously.
Objectively false, I don't even know where you're getting this from.
Are you really going to make me put the time and record all of this shit to disprove all of this garbage?
>There is literally no reason to use bolt actions because just using a single shot rifle and then swapping to a pistol is quicker than actually cycling the bolt.
Unfortunately for your argument, the gameplay doesn't exist in an empty vacuum. There are a thousand other factors than weapon swap speed numbers.
Further, there are many 'Iron [weapon]' traits that you can pick up to increase the speed at which bolts are racked and levers are pulled, increasing your volume of higher much faster than that of some fucking 'quick swapping' asshole, whatever the fuck that means.
...

...
>There are literally hundreds of spots...
Oh shut the fuck up. Not every bush, tree or barn window that you get ambushed from as you sprinted by without a care in the world is a 'cheese spot'. Get fucking good.
>I said I'm nearing 1000 hours.
Again, bullshit. Post your profile.

permadeath and inventory loss is NEVER fun
anyone that claims it to be fun is a stockholm syndrome fucking faggot
debate me, you WILL LOSE.

>why is this game so underratedm
>y-you're just bad!!!
Cope harder. Not everyone swallows bad multiplayer religiously like you.

>Constantly swapping between 2 revolvers for example will give you a faster fire rate than firing and cocking 1 revolver continuously.

Ok buddy, fuck off. I didn't know that the shills were out in full force today

youtu.be/LI0ikfrXlfo?t=82

I did post my profile, look at the fucking picture you dope.

holy based

>The thing with hunt is that the player animation are terrible.
You really have no clue what you're talking about. The animations are the hitboxes that accompany them are fantastic and accurate.
Post a clip or a video showing this to be otherwise, I would love to see it.
>The meta right now in regards to movement is to just run forward while bunnyhopping
You keep repeating this, but it's simply not true. You lose nearly all of your movement speed if you jump continuously. Bunnyhopping is impossible in hunt: showdown. If you try jumping constantly while changing direction you will be a huge target and get fucking shot in a heartbeat.
>the slow bullet speed
Only a few revolvers have sub sonic bullet velocities. Namely the nagant silenced, conversion and the lemat. Claiming that people are bunnyhopping around to avoid getting shot by a sparks or martini is such a bold-faced lie it's nearly comical to me.

Like your 180 spin argument, you can't aim well enough when quick switching between those revolvers. Look at the clips again, every time he's swapping between revolvers, he misses nearly all of his fucking shots. He's out in the open shooting people who are literally standing there not firing back.
There is SO much more going on tactically in this game than what is shown in these five second clips.

>79% is nearing 100%
????
