In this thread we talk about everything Darkest Dungeon related.
Also, thanks user from the other day for teach me how to use Antiquarian. I'm making lots of money even with just level 1 short dungeon.
Darkest Dungeon
What did they tell you? How do you use the antiquarian?
I started playing yesterday, I glanced over the antiquarians skills and gave it a hard pass, did I miss anything?
Each Antiquarian in the party increase the max amount of gold per stack and use her to interact with curios has a chance of getting expensive or trinkets.
bump
my friend made me play the intro and a few levels once. As a joke i used the torches on a book pile
My crusader went to 100 stress instantly, got a bad perk that stressed everyone else out, had 3 heart attacks and died with everyone else.
great game lmao
>i used the torches on a book pile
I did this too and ended almost the same way.
Fuck that user who told me I should burn the books.
This mechanically shallow game is only carried by its legendary tier aesthetics and sound direction
Remember to grind.
get the mod that tell you what every interactable item does .
the combat ability suck, but she has abilities that the game doesn't tell you. let you get more money in the dungeons
I haven't played in a while. I want to do a modded chars only run but there's just so many mod classes that I don't know which ones to pick and which to leave out
>mechanically shallow
what? the game is literally based on the mechanics
All right, so I'm going to buy the Crimson Court and the Color of Madness, but does the Shieldbreaker class worth it?
How do you stay interested in this game after the 10-hour mark?
>Burn a book
>Lose your mind
Help me Dismas IM GOING INSANEEEE!
Anyway, butcher circus is getting pretty annoying with faggots spamming abo and just using the head slam ability, should not be usable in rank 2/1
i think so. pierce and puncture are great abilities. she is just generally fun if you like parties that shuffle around a lot. having one lower speed shieldbreaker, one high speed one, and a crusader with what that shit is that lets him charge from 3 is a great way to just dick down most of the game
WHEN IS THE SEQUEL COMING OUUUUUUUUT
butcher circus was really cool but I got burned out after playing 6 days straight, the RNG is insane.
Tell us about your favorite/most memorable heroes, Zig Forums.
I still remember my absolute favorite.
>Get a hellion
>As I level her up, she gets perks like Warrior of Light, Beast Slayer, Eldritch Slayer, Unholy Hater, etc.
>Also got nyphomania and dipsomania, which I find hilarious
>Use her to slay boss after boss, cutting them down with relative ease. She almost always gets the last hit.
>Lose her on a run where I was feeling overconfident (a slow and insidious killer)
>Within the next ingame week or two, get the event where you get to pick one of three heroes to bring back to life
>She was one of the options
>Didn't even look at the other two, picked her right away
But the best part of all?
>Her name was Courtney
I fucking love the mental image of this badass barbarian chick, known for slaying the absolute worst monsters around... and who is also a Valley Girl and sounds like one too. I've since renamed each Hellion I've gotten Courtney, because it's clear to me she's an immortal monster slayer who cannot be stopped.
Should I?
Yes. Just don't enter the zones until you finished the game and you will be fine.
I'm only week 15. I heard the DLC affect the main game even if you don't go to the DLC area.
You have to do the first crimson court quest first, then the mobs from it can appear in the other areas, it's a bit annoying because you won't be able to cure the curse and you won't have enough blood to make having it useful.
How can I get blood?
Do it, it's manageable.
Build the town distillery, or whatever it's called, and delet SUCC mobs.
There's a building you can make that gives you a bit each week, I think you can get some as a random drop when killing the bugs.
yes but don't wait until the end of the game or you will steamroll through it. don't do the quest immediately either, wait until you have a few good heroes and building upgrades then you will have a good balance between challenge and fun
I'll ask again just to be sure, the curse won't start until I go to the court for the first time, right?
Yeah, the courtyard is good to go for when you've firmly established yourself in veteran resolve missions.
