What fighting games does Zig Forums play?

Pick up anything good from the steam summer sale?

none, im not a nigger so instead i play the white man's game genre of choice, gacha games

Power Rangers. Best fighting game cause there's no pointless inputs. If you wanna throw a fireball just do it.

White people play school shooting simulators
Wtf did you mean by this

best fighters out there right now are probably gonna be
>UNICLR
good neutral game not much OKI really cool mechanics like GRD gauge and Vorpal
>BB COLLECTION
Its all of Blazblue and for pretty fucking cheap too
>Power Ranger BTG
Like MVC but with Power Rangers Characters really fucking fun pretty alive
>Melty Blood
Just going out of my way to suggest melty but don't buy it on steam just get the community edition it has rollback netcode

i've been trying xrd rev 2 but i think it might not be for me despite how much i love the style of the characters. i think fighters with more than 4 buttons just aren't for me but i'm still new to fighting games
i might try unist

It's funny you say that, I usually find four button fighters much tougher since it usually means more special inputs. If you compare the specials of SF to KoF you'll find KoF has much more complicated special moves despite having fewer buttons. With six button fighters they usually stick to the simple qcf/qcb, hcf/hcb, dp, and so on.

good ass SFV

I liked those arcade fighting games you could download more fighters and the screen could turn into a nightmare, there was this fighter that was a monster weird thing that would turn the screen into something weird

Samurai Shodown

Still grinding away at BBCF. I love that the world lobby is still populated on PSN

I played DBFZ for about a month at launch and play it about a week after each new DLC character hits.

That's about it though, because absolutely fuck fighting games.

I only play Granblue really. Its the only fighter that caught my interest with its artstyle

I can't into okizeme in BBCF
>try to oki opponent on ground
>he dps
>tries to whiff meaty 2A to bait dp
>he wake up grabs me
>tries to safe jump aerial meaty
>he forward or back rolls away
ITS NOT FAIR

the 4-button fighter i've played was TFH which is pretty lax on special inputs to be fair
i tried playing KI but it felt overwhelming thinking about light/med/heavy variants for all of the neutral, crouch, and air variants on top of different strengths for linkers and a bunch of other mechanics to learn

haven't trained for evo in a week

Just picked it up myself, who are you playing? I'm playing Bullet right now.
I haven't looked into TFH but I have heard it's pretty beginner friendly.

I felt the same way about KI, cool game but the free flow combo system is kind of weird to play around with. I like that it encourages not being repetitive but how people consistently can see which linkers the opponent is using to combo breaker is beyond me.

>UNI
>not much OKI
but Byakuya web, Orie orb, Carmine puddle, Vatista crystal, etc

I mainly play Tekken, done better than I thought i would at a few tournaments. It's hard for me to find people to play it with though, so I'm losing interest. /tekgen/ is a bunch of meme spouting retards who have somehow reduced all communication to hieroglyphic frogs, and reddit is.. reddit. Just want some chill dudes to hang out with who can help guide me to being a better player.

jumping among Izanami, Hazama, Terumi, and Susanoo
it doesn't matter who I play. Good players always read my mind knowing exactly what I'll do to oki

I quite enjoy For Honor. Are there any fighters like that?

well compared to other fightas user its not as bad

I got into SFxT again.

Ignoring gems, it is not that bad and has some sound mechanics desu

Power Rangers is literally just Marvel though it's still hype as fuck

Damn, seems like you're set on some of the tougher characters. For me I just chose Bullet since has big damage, is easy, and is a cute tomboy.
Samurai Shodown obviously, just play Warden.

Umvc3 on a weekly basis and MVC2 at a occasional local.
I don't interact with anything else besides watching some rare KOF and Tekken tournaments.

Decided to play KI for my first actual fighting game. Just a couple days in so I'm still getting used to everything. Thinking of trying Hisako for my first non-Jago character.

Bros, how do I get consistent electrics? My damage is good but it could be better if I get better at electrics.

Please help

hitbox

Have you tried the guide by the guide by Infil? Hisako is pretty far removed from Jago, it may bekind of tough transitioning from a shoto to a grappler light. You could always try Shadow Jago or Omen if you want a "remixed" style of shoto.

Should i get a Qanba Crystal or Hori RAP 4 Kai?

I play Skullgirls

Yeah I read it, bookmarked it, and wrote down the important bits for quick reference. I just thought it would be neat to try someone who does grabs but I'm not against trying others like Shadow Jago or Omen first.
