Which is worse?
Which is worse?
Bottom, it's funny watching smashfags sperg out.
At this point you kind of just expect it with Smash even though its still always really shitty and disappointing. Even though they try to make some of the newer FE fags different they're still lame and generic for the most part. But I'd say DBFZ is worse just cause despite them all playing differently I think it was such a missed opportunity for the game to make different Super Saiyan levels new characters. DBFZ could have been a traditional fighter all it's own with an emphasis on branching installs for most of the characters with different strengths/weaknesses, instead of them being locked into separate characters. The room for creativity and adaptability would have been immense. It in the end just disappoints me more as a big fan of DB and Fightans in general.
dbf by far
>Remove the setsuna part
Good, you realized it was stupid.
Bottom definitely.
Top is fine. Bottom is ass
People unironically go nuts for Goku shit, noone wants FE characters after Ike.
Bottom by virtue of being a pretty boring fighting game to begin with.
Bottom. While FE picks usually have something that sets them apart from the other FE fighters, there's literally no excuse for that many Gokus.
top
bottom have totally different gameplans and positions. SSJ Hoku, Bluku and Baseku are the only ones who share some normals
Top has four Marths and four more unique characters. Bottom is better since nearly all of them play differently.
The Gokus, no question. Like it or not, at least the FE characters are different people.
Top. Goku is the fucking main character, it makes sense for him. Plus they all play differently, and some of them aren't even Goku.
>PLAYS DIFFERENT
>over half the gokus share their normals
Top is worse.
Yes, they're different characters and Goku isn't.
However, options for Dragon Ball are limited. Basically Goku does everything and the rest of the cast are a bunch of jobbers. So it makes sense Goku would have so much representation. Who else were they going to put? Those furry jobbers from Universe 9?
In Smash's case, however, they could choose literally any character from any video game. This is why having so many Fire Emblem characters annoys people.
Who shares normals aside from Blue, Super, and Base?
Finally someone gets it
>10/40 (25%) of the current DBFZ roster is Goku, Vegeta, or Both (not even counting Goku Black)
>8/76 (~10.5%) of the current Smash characters are Fire Emblems
I'd say DBFZ's situation is a bit worse.
hmmm
>Four Marths, one mistake, three uniques
>5 shades of Gokus, 2 half Gokus, Goku kid, and Goku father.
I think bottom, but I feel top.
Not only that, but there are literal clones on that FE list where as Goku may share small amounts of his moveset. When an FE character shares ones move with someone it’s much different due to the huge lack of moves.
the difference is that all those gokus play different while half of those FE characters play the same as each other
Bottom definitely
I'm not sure how anyone can think the top is better when half are literal clones. Even if they pull shared normals out of their ass for the Gokus, they still have different specials, supers, and gameplans.
Top, people actually like Goku and he is the main character. Every DB fan wanted Ultra Instinct to be added. Nobody likes FE shit.
Unless you mean just move-set, you would not play Marth the exact same as you would Chrom or Lucina. Unless you don't actually care about doing jackshit worth of damage.
Doesn't really count when 90% of them are pure shit.
Should have been Marth, Ike, Robin, and Corrin and thats it. No girl marth, no clones, and certainly no most basic generic uninteresting fucking anime character bitch Byleth. The most wasted character slot in smash history
People forget that fused zamasu is 1/3 Goku too
Ike, Robin and fucking Corrin have completely different movesets entirely and the latter despite being retarded undeserving shilling is fun to play as.
Chrom should have been a full blend of Marth and Ike to begin with instead of Lucina and Roy didn't need to come back until every character ever did.
Okay then:
>FE has 2 literal no-effort clones and two characters who are very similar, saving dev time for other fighters
>DBFZ has 10 Gokus and Vegetas, all getting larger amounts of dev time that could've gone to characters like Raditz, Mr. Satan, Master Roshi, Dabura, or any number of other supporting characters who are absent
But muh hat goomba isn't in because muh blue hairs, am I right?
They aren't really though. At least most of them are.
I know they play differently and I agree with everything you said. I think the clones should just be removed entirely and we should keep the unique ones.
Byleth would have been tolerable if not for explicitly being told the character would be from new worlds just for actually having their game out and successful before getting added. Also the trailet was shit and could have been better just with that divine pulse shit to survive Galeem.
After that information and every character before at least being an unexpected, but not shit choice, it was just the fucking worst to end on, especially when Dante of all characters seemed possible.
