At least now you're committed. Hang in there lad you can do it
you bad at videogame?
No problem: you play videogame, brain makes you good!
Everything kills you in two hits and I don't know how you upgrade the hp there's a bunch of soldiers in groups and sometimes theres a giant with a hammer he kills me with one hit and you die and respawn at the beginning of the lvl
Man this sucks I just wanted to play a samurai game
Check out Onimusha or Way of the Samurai.
Git gud.
>and you die and respawn at the beginning of the lvl
there's literally a checkpoint every 50 ingame meters or something along those lines
It stops being hard when you figure out the combat.
Deflecting is your primary defensive option. Posture is your second hp bar, you recover it by holding block. Posture can't be broken as long as you keep deflecting.
Jumping and dashing have few i-frames on them. Jumping/dashing through attacks is possible but timing is tight. Use them for repositioning and escaping grabs.
Running is good and you can run forever in combat.
Get the deathblow hp regen and mikiri skills asap. Mikiri obliterates all thrusts in the game, this includes kicks (just press B, no directions). Jump sweeps and jump again on their head for posture damage.
Firecrackers are a free stun. They are also very good for crowd control.
Once you get comfortable with enemy patterns you will find that this game rewards aggression. Running in their face and eating their posture until they deflect you works very well. Most bosses have more dangerous options out of neutral compared to out of deflecting your attacks.
Hirata Estate.
Hirata Estate.
Hirata Estate.
hestiation is defeat
Use this to reduce the game speed, then incrementally increase it as you get the hang of stuff/figure out what the fuck you're doing wrong.
Hirata Estate.
git gud low attention spam zoom
>4 hours
learn how to time the deflects and you will be fine, it's worth it
I really like the mini bosses in this game, that ghost girl in the underground city gave me more trouble than Isshin on my first run, her anime attacks were really hard to deflect
Sekiro is one of the only good games in 8th gen.
*btfos shitrata shitaste*

>I will deflect any kind of criticism of the game by spamming filtered or gitgud

Mad cuz bad.

This is what I hate about soulsfags the most.
The threads weren't always like this.
Back when demon's souls came out, the threads were full of legit opinions and advice.
Then DS1 got ported to pc and those same people spamming git gud and filtered had to use a cheat engine to beat the game.
become proficient, friend.
What criticism? OP is just complaining about it being too hard for him without providing any reasons. That's what GIT GUD was made for, newfag.
Just watch a random e-celeb playing it and you'll see how easy it is
OPs complain is valid because the game is terribly unbalanced in the way that it just drops you into the game without any kind of tutorial
The enemies in the fucking beginning area kills you in 3 hits, IN THE BEGINNING AREA. How is this shit fair?
Sadly from fell for the epic difficulty meme and forgot to make an actual good game, sad!
>The enemies in the fucking beginning area kills you in 3 hits, IN THE BEGINNING AREA. How is this shit fair?
honestly if you manage to die in the beginning area, you are a bit of a mouth breather
>without any kind of tutorial
And there it is. Nice thread.
really???
dud dont give up pls..you WILL be rewarded u WILL get gud
Tutorial enemies are made to ease you in to the game
Spam the block button to counter it's a good way to start learning. Also for ogre grabs or whatever dodge and buy.mimikyu counter first
You upgrade your hp by killing minibosses
Sekiro isn't like Dark Souls. Theres no leveling or different weapons or even really useful equipment. All you can do to progress is get good at the game.
>I just wanted to play a samurai game
>Bought a shinobi game instead
>Theres no leveling
Yes there is.
>or different weapons
Shinobi tools aren't different weapons?
>or even really useful equipment.
Shinobi tools aren't useful? Healing items aren't useful? Status items aren't useful? Sugars aren't useful?
