I think its pretty funny how out of touch Oney is after watching that Revengence playthrough. He did the same thing with Hollow Knight. Its like he stopped realizing games existed after 2009.

The group dynamic is basically two silly guys and one not as silly guy to react with surprise and shock while the other two fuel each other's fires.

Its why DD and Julian were good, its why Zach and Lyle are good, Tomar and Lyle, and Zach and Tomar. Chris and Corey rides purely on Corey's autistic shrieking. Lyle is bit harder to group because depending on who he is paired with he either has to be the rational mouthpiece, or a silly fire-starter like Chris or Zach ala (Chris/Lyle/Tomar) In that specific group Tomar is rational norm that reacts with shock and surprise. In a (Chris/Zach/Lyle) lineup, Lyle has to be a fill-in Tomar so to speak to make their flow, flow properly. I don't think the new dynamics where aware of each other until a few months in and they seem to have settled nicely to the point where any group lineup is enjoyable to listen to. I certainly wouldn't watch for gameplay, that would be sad. Its all about pretending you have funny friends to hangout with.
