Yes. Spy's niche is from backstabbing. Unleashing headshots from across the map and cloaking to reappear in a new vantage point wasn't what Spy was ever inherently meant to do. It was a mistake to have ever had headshot properties to begin with.

Valve really hates gun spy, which is understandable as they want spy to be a stealth based class, but at the same time aren't unlocks supposed to create new playstyles?

I remember the day it came out there was a bug that made the enemy's hitbox enormous and you could never miss with it.

Dead Ringer and this thing on release were bonkers. Spies were unkillable monsters that sniped Engineers from miles away.

Sniper should be nerfed, there is LITTERALY no counterplay to Sniper when you don't know where he is. Oh what's that you just got out of spawn? Well too bad because xxDarkNemesisxx[GER] scored a lucky headshot.

No, snipers should learn to not stay out in the middle like a fucking tree, and other players should learn to not walk down a straight line like an on a rails game

The problem with that is that TF2 maps aren't really designed with the kind of tough-to-reach hiding spots that snipers in FPS games traditionally thrive in. Snipers in TF2 can't just hide somewhere off the beaten path because the map is either symmetrical or follows a path to the end, so anywhere you can hide you'll either be easy to spot or easy to reach on foot

Comp should just be stock weapons only, and *maybe* sandvich. Then Valve wouldn't have to worry about sucking all the fun out of casual play for the sake of balancing everything around the twelve players at the very top.
