The weapon upgrade system is pathetically shallow. Why did they not make monsters drop specific parts needed to craft epic weapons or upgrades? There is no fucking point in killing machines unless quest or story related. They better take a bit of inspiration from monster Hunter for the next game.

I actually liked the game to the point where I got all trophies for it, including the Ultra Hard mode one, but it isn’t as good as BOTW. The combat is retarded since the machine’s attacks have tracking, and the game will put you in tiny arenas like the caldrouns and expect you to fight massive enemies like Thunderjaws or Scorchers
