Really mediocre like everything Obshitian does.
Brainlets thought it was an action game instead of an RPG.
I thought it played kinda clunky
It was?
It was fucking based. I don't know any single person who disliked this game
One of the only games I played twice for actual fun reasons. Second playthrough was as the recruit you unlock with higher base stats. MURRICA'd everything I ran into. I don't suggest using shotgun smg combo. Fighitng Xie was a pain in the ass without a focused ranged weapon. Punched everything to death besides that. Pistol OP
People though you're supposed to play it like a Bioware RPG and always pick the same attitude. Also it was buggy as fuck, had poor graphics, mediocre gunplay, very unbalanced builds, and not particularly imaginative levels. The game's brilliant, but you need to be willing to forgive a lot of jank to see the genius in it.
Really clunky gameplay I'd imagine. It's a god-tier RPG though
I bought it then but the hacking minigame filtered me.
Played it years later and found out how amazing it is.
Evidently the gameplay sucked
If it's not an action game, why include shit like boss fights against that russian dude or the scene girl who dual wields guns? why include gameplay segments where your options are
>play a really shitty third person shooter
>get the perks that make you invisible and just run past everyone
deus ex this shit aint. all the levels are linear as hell
It was overshadowed by ass effect and riddled with bugs.
like every bioware game, the actual moment to moment gameplay is genuinely terrible but there are a few cool ideas or bits of writing spread throughout that Zig Forums posters use as proof the whole game is that good all the time.
Bioware games are masterpieces gameplay-wise compared to AP, m8. It doesn't even compare.
kinda want to replay this, its been years since ive played it though.
the pistol and its skills were the overpowered stuff, right?
if i remember correctly, its suppose to have some sort of broken skill that can pretty much one shot bosses or something.
Yes pistol is OP as fuck
>10 years old
Fuck
youtube.com
It's not a Bioware game
absolute KINO moment
because that dumb timer in the conversation sections is always RUSHING ME STOP RUSHING ME
everyone played pistols and stealth which made the game aboslute snorefest
that slav boss who does cocaine and runs around at the speed of light to fuck you up with his knives
>it's now good game
Yep Kingdom of Amalur was great game too
It has its fanbase.
I sure love it.
It was pretty good.
TURN UP
TURN UP THE RADIO!!!
New Minecraft server 1.12.2 with mods, survival,
I remember cheesing a few fights on hardmode because i found out pausing and re equiping armor resets your shields in combat
Idk if they ever patched it, dont abuse : )
Wish it was on steam

*snort* haaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>Why was this game so hated?
The biggest reason is that like all Obsidian games, it was released as completely broken and buggy piece of shit. Also even after patches it has extreme imbalances in skills, weapons etc.
I do think it eventually turned okay though, and wish it got a sequel.
DUDE THROTON You're blowing my freakin' mind! Shit dude that's just .... wow. I'm going to totally show you my manuscript - I'm almost done. It's a treatise on how the price fluctuations in commodities are part of an organized effort at mind control.
Just yesterday, the price of strawberries went up. Why?? I'll tell you why! because THEY wanted it to go up o see how much it would change things - like the likelihood of alcoholism or suicide or military enrollment.
because it's a shit game
This. If the game released without game breaking save bugs, enemy soldiers de-spawning whenever you reloaded a checkpoint, softlocks on boss deaths or one of the dozens of other technical problems people would think remember it as the best action RPG the 360 had.
Wait, isn't it sold on steam anymore?
Honestly, for people that played dragon age origins, it really is a breakdown of the same storyline formula
