I'm still too busy with summer courses, so I'm not actively platinuming anything.
I was working on Xcom 2 and Super Monkey Ball, but that's all on the backburner now.
I once got into an argument with a friend over a game and I sent him a picture of my gamer score. He just sent me a picture of his girlfriend sucking his dick. When you're a cool cheevo Hunter like me, betas just send you porn for free.
>tfw trophy whore and engaged
best of both worlds.
>most recent plat
ass creed 2
>hunting
FF7RE, FF8, SAO lost song
>finish doing everything I want to do in a game
>look up trophy list
>I'm missing one that required 5-10 hours of mindless grinding
Every time. I don't know how you guys do it.
lots of weed + autism
Stopped hunting after marriage a couple years ago. Since covid started I tried getting back into it and it ain't the same any more.
Went from around 12 plats a year to one every other year.
Working on medievil though as I'm really enjoying it
completing things is fun
OCD tendencies
autism
podcasts
Can someone post a pic of that soulless dude with all the trophies?
I like seeing the S on psnprofiles
Hakoom? That was an edit. Dude has a wife and child. I don't know how he does it. I can barely find the time to trophy hunt now and I don't even have a kid yet.
Finished battlefront 2 yesterday, doing battle for bikini bottom now. I have 48 plats
>trophies
>>trophies
working on Yakuza 5
as much as I love the series, I can't wait to be done with it because the burnout from 100% all of them has never been more apparent than now
>playing them that close together with plans of 100% completion
doing it wrong. You're supposed to space them out farther than that user.
ohhhh, im gooooonaaaaa
IM GOOOOONAAAAAAA
HAAAAAAKOOOOOOOOM!
I have shit going on in the background when I'm grinding. Usually youtube videos. I build myself a watch later list while I'm doing other things, then watch it all while grinding.
It's fun
that's why I stopped to play P5R and Peace Walker first before I continued with Yakuza 5, but I didn't have anything else to play by the time I finished with those.
That being said, Y5 is probably the worst game out of the series to 100%. The side missions are a huge slog and the story isn't paced well at all
>Overwatch
>Super Street Fighter IV
>Monster Hunter World
>Dragon Ball FighterZ
God fucking damn user. I wish I was as competent at online trophies as you.
In fairness to Overwatch, I probably boosted around 40% of the trophies. I got tired of the game around when either Orisa or Doomfist came out, so I stopped playing and then only came back to get trophies and stopped again.
MonHun, I did pretty much everything solo.
I don't blame you on the other two though, fighting game platinums are usually always rough. Funnily enough with Street Fighter, I was expecting it to be a lot harder to do the online stuff because the game is old and barely anyone is online, but I ended up breezing through it much easier compared to when I did it on the 360 when the game was new and there more people to play against
I'm working on No Man's Sky at the moment, fairly easy to get through. Only real annoying one was that extreme survival thing, for which the most effective solution is to just rubber band the fucking controller.
>I'm missing one that required 5-10 hours of mindless grinding
I can understand the occasional game - FF being the biggest guilty party - but you guys always make it sound like all games pull this crap. Seriously, this isn't 2006 bullshit trophies era anymore. At least highlight the game you're referring to.
As for managing the grind: podcasts, audiobooks, or watch a movie and whatnot on the side.
still hunting for the Pirate Warriors 3 Plat.
I want to punch whoever decided "Hey, let's make you max out the crew levels of characters you can't play as and make their appearance as allies total RNG"
but too tried from 11 hours of work yesterday and 9 hours today to game.
Congrats on that over-watch trophy user.
Is No Man's Sky that easy? I would assume it's a long as fuck grind.
I just got my 18th Platinum with P4G. I originally had no motivation to pour 40-50 hours into another playthrough just to fight Margaret but the steam version motivated me.
Now I have to get past my Post-Persona depression and get the motivation to fetch some other platinums
I have two platinum trophies.
Bloodborne and persona 5
I heard somewhere that 100% in FFXV is impossible now because of DLC thats no longer available is that true?
Working on San Andreas ps3, just got to toreno in the desert.
I thought Injustice was more popular, but I suppose people usually don't care for single player in fighting games.
It's still possible to 100% by buying it physically and downgrading your copy (somehow).
but otherwise, making Comrades stand alone makes XV impossible to 100%. You can still plat it but man it looks sad when the plat is less than 50% of all trophies.
Still with that? Musous are very time consuming. Anyways, Law vs Doffy dlc map is the best to raise many characters, get money, exp because you can defeat over 10k enemies in there.
If you need to raise for animal types, choose the one map for that. If you need for Mr3 or whatever, choose the map of Baroque Works vs Donquixote Family. If you need for females, choose map for females, and etc etc etc
If you want specific a character just go in and out until it spawns as one of the 2 characters that will aid you from the beginning. Then take advantage of having 4 or 5 crew characters, whatever the max is, and keep using kizuna shit.
In PW3 the worst thing was getting S ranking in TB. And i remember that in PW1 to platinum you were forced to play it online with 3 friends to get some special coins.

Waiting on my physical copy of that.
Nice
I'm not big on trophies so I don't check every game but here's some I've played recently. My last playstation console before getting a vita was the ps2 so I don't know about 2006 trophies:
>Ys Origin
I've done a million playthroughs but never got a character to level 60. Approximately 5-10 hours of grinding required.
>Romancing SaGa 2
Need to fight ~2000 battles for one stupid trophy, going back to the castle intermittently to check on a tree. I've done several playthroughs including some with bonus content and have never even fought 1000 battles.
>Natural Doctrine
Dead online mode that requires 100 wins.
>Ys VIII
I need to spend 5 hours playing as each character (kind of my fault for not checking sooner, I didn't use some characters in the field much since they move slower)
>God Eater
Need to fight 100 urgent battles and every urgent battle only shows up after you fight a bunch of regular battles. I think I did the math and it was >5 hours.
>Bullet Girls Phantasia
Grind for material drops
>Soul Sacrifice Delta
Grind SP
>Valkyrie Drive
Grind exp
>God Wars Future Past
Grind exp and jp
>Neptunia
Didn't check but I'm sure it's grinding
I think there's a few games on my backlog with more reasonable trophies but so far my experience with trophies hasn't been very good
>hen take advantage of having 4 or 5 crew characters, whatever the max is, and keep using kizuna shit.
the hard part is that even if i get a lot of !'s, for some reason some characters gain a lot of bond and some gain little.
One guy on Gamefaqs said that using Fujitora and spamming his R1 charge (Meteor drop) with a specific skill set is great
Congrats on platinum 76 user.
>X to go back
.....wat
Before I had a PS4 I had a 360. Is it worth getting a PS3 now if I'm interested in trophy hunting? There are a few games on the PS3 that look fun to trophy hunt for.
Heres how you do it
It's a little work but you can do it

I am working on the Yakuza 0 plat. Currently at a 75% completion list. Really all that's left is darts, gambling, and fucking outrun besides finishing the story.
How bad are the later Climax Battles? I've only done about 10 of them since the others are still locked.
PS3 is absolutely still worth it, A lot of servers are still online and pretty active, and theres plenty of single player games.
Trophy sync or the PS store for PS3 will likely never be shutdown because it's unified with all systems.
>Get nearly every single achievement in a game
>Final achievement would take 5x longer than all the others combined and is just a grind wall with no challenge
