I'm talking about a game that acknowledges that you are not the hero in the stroy, and that you are actively encouraged to do dosruptive or downright evil shit to the "hero" of the story.

Devs and hollywood and other "artists" always talk about wanting to explore diverse themes but they're too pussy to actually do it.
All I can think of are games that have the protagonist be somewhat neutral or of complex morality or bait you into doing "bad" things like Spec Ops The Line.

Armored Core: For Answer - Doing the destruction path means becoming a bigger monster than everybody else. Sadly it's only 2 missions, with the first being the easiest mission in the game and the other one of the hardest missions in the series. Every other mission is just you being a mercenary.
