Microsoft couldn't care less where you play their games. If consumers get confused and go buy an Xbox One instead of the Series X, cool. If they don't upgrade because they think it's a refresh, also cool. How have you morons not grasped Xbox's strategy at this point? It's all about their services.

And then Series X sells 60M+ less than PS5, and tons of more niche developers skip the platform entirely, all the timed exclusivity deals go to Sony because bigger audience, and higher ups at MS cut Xbox's budget some more, preventing them from fixing their exclusives problem.

The main reason why the Xbone lost to the PS4 early on was because the PS4 was cheaper AND more powerful. Right now, they look to be around the same price while the SeX being much more powerful, and even if the PS5 is cheaper than the SeX, the SeS will be even cheaper.
