Open worlds at this point are just now an extra way to pad out game time by making players run back and forth across the map to do the next mission and maybe you might find something "secret" if you look hard enough but its usually something stupid anyway.

The only driving force in the game is going to be the bad guys, how one dimensionally ‘evil’ and ‘fascist’ they are in post Brexit London while you control a bunch of generic shallow pawns with zero impact with the story.
