People weren't criticising the graphics though, they didn't like how squeenix shoved microtransactions into a single player game and that said game never stopped goading you into paying for weapons and ammo. I dont think any other game since Mankind Divided has actually tried pulling that shit, that's how bad it was. Also it somehow ran way worse than Human Revolution despite not looking that much better.
