I reached Alcamoth

I reached Alcamoth
I'm guetting side quests fatigue...
and it seems I NEED to do them since i'm barely on level with area monsters even if i'm trying to keep up with most quests before moving on

>side quests fatigue.
I pretty much dropped this game because of this. I just couldn't handle playing a single player MMO anymore. I can't believe I let you faggots meme me into playing this trash.

doesnt help that the game looks like its been smeared with paste too, its a real shit game

It was much, much worse in the original.

how far did you get?

>doesnt help that the game looks like its been smeared with paste too, its a real shit game
I'm playing on Dolphin actually

Don’t even do the sidequests actively, just select some that you’ll complete on the way like the monster killing ones. Use a guide to find out which sidequests are actually worth doing(yes, there are some).
t. Did almost every sidequest in the original version.

>Use a guide to find out
might as well watch a let's play

>i'm barely on level with area monsters
Expert mode was literally created because if you do even a handfull of the side quest in the game you quickly become over leveled
You haven't been as diligent as you think

If your tired of playing the game then don't play it any more, its not that hard

>You haven't been as diligent as you think
yeah that's why I said it looks like I NEED to do all of them

And they couldn't improve performance at all in the Switch port? Fucking big lol

Opened up the game the day after I bought it on Switch, reached the starting town, got a headache because of the motion blur, nonexistent antialiasing and low fps and then immediately took it back to the store for a full refund.

Turn on casual mode then, no one will know.

>tfw reached snowy area and landmarks are so far away from each other it took me 1 hour to go from point A to point B and then slipped from a platform and died due to fall damage and now I can't bring myself to take the trek all over again

>Turn on casual mode then, no one will know.
I'm emulating the Wii one

>Headache minutes into a game
Were you born prematurely or something?

Get a switch then

Attached: smug_nanachi.png (540x304, 115.75K)

I have a switch, I got XB2 on it

I don't want to start XCDE because when it came out I was 25 hours into the Wii save

Finish the Wii one then you fucking retard

HUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRR

did you read the OP?

It takes like 5 hours to reach Alcamoth?

No?
took me 29 hours

>29 hours
are you mentally handicapped?

I'm doing the fucking sidequests

Then skip the fucking sidequests on the Switch and enable casual mode, are you fucking retarded?

what do you get from insulting people?

what do you get from being intentionally obtuse and baiting dumb posts?

>and baiting dumb posts?
what bait you imbecile

Attached: SX4E01_2020-07-13_14-18-07.png (1524x832, 1.36M)

Nope, I'm sorry for not being conditioned to enjoy shit coded into a video game format because it was released by Nintendo. I've replayed some PS2 games from my childhood again recently and even they ran and looked better than Xenoblade Chronicles on the Switch.

What are some good/fundamental abilities to give Dunban and Reyn? I'm afraid I'm building them wrong, my main party is Shulk/Dunban/Reyn btw

Attached: Untitled.png (2560x1440, 1.29M)

>casual mode,
Kill yourself

>my main party is Shulk/Dunban/Reyn btw
no reason not to use Riki

Any single player game that forces you to do side quests is shit

Attached: 1588865058728.jpg (700x699, 87.59K)

then turn on easy mode

I mean you are free to dislike what you will. I'm just surprised that you couldn't give yourself a better judgement before trying. And surprised that you are so prone to headaches, I genuinely believe you have a medical condition, user.

Since you bothered claiming ps2 games look better why not show one?

see
and learn to follow a conversation, user.
>complain you cannot proceed in the game cause there's too many sidequests you don't want to do and are underlevelled
>someone tells you to use casual mode
>can't use casual mode cause not playing on switch
>someone tells you to buy a switch and get the game there instead
>say you already have a switch but don't want to throw away 30 hours of "content" that you wasted doing sidequests
>someone tells you you can easily skip those 30 hours in less than 5 hours by getting to the exact same point and not have to bother with sidequests cause you can just enable casual mode anyway if you want to play through the story
>w-w-what bait
You really don't understand how your entire reasoning has absolutely 0 logic behind it? Either you're intentionally baiting or you're literally THAT dumb.

Attached: 7ef.jpg (600x600, 31.71K)

>Getting filtered by one of the easiest RPGs in human history

Do like 2 sidequests and you'll be overleveled for the entire rest of the game.

Attached: 1583847288594.jpg (285x327, 18.17K)

>>someone tells you you can easily skip those 30 hours in less than 5 hours by getting to the exact same point and not have to bother with sidequests cause you can just enable casual mode anyway if you want to play through the story
doesn't sound like a win to me
just cheating

Any reason why I should get Riki? Everywhere I saw online they say Shulk/Dunban/Reyn is best party maybe not considering seven? idk
I also don't really like Riki, but I never really used it, I've been sticking with Shulk/Dunban/Reyn ever since I got all three of them permanently and it's going really well so far.

Attached: Untitled.png (2560x1440, 1.25M)

>>Any reason why I should get Riki?

>good attack
>high hp
>can heal party, no retarded ai like sharla
>fun banter

what's not to like

>Dunban
All his attack arts, especially the AoE, and Serene Grace as his only aura. Thunder and Demon's Slayer are both situational so just pick one, I prefer Demon's Slayer since it also does big damage

>Reyn
Berserk, Magnum Charge, Sword Drive, Topple art, Daze Art, the rest are filler

>still telling someone to use casual mode
See

Use casual mode

Jak and Daxter.

Runs at a consistent framerate with no motion blur and yeah the game doesnt have much in the way of antialiasing but at least it doesn't have the dog shit dynamic resolution scaling of Xenoblade that stays at 240p or some shit for most of the time.

Attached: jakndaxter.jpg (1920x1080, 269.04K)

Shulk,Dunban, Reyn just rapes everything with shitloads of dps, and you can topple lock shit forever

I'm doing every single sidequest because most of them get automatically completed without having you go talk to the NPC in question.
I don't remember if it was like this in the original, I do know I didn't bother doing side quests in the original.

Get him instead of who? Dunban or Reyn? Or maybe Shulk? I enjoying maining Shulk and Dunban+Reyn seem to have pretty good chemistry so far.

Attached: 1535206186996.jpg (850x909, 406.83K)

Riki's more balanced, he pretty much never dies, deals consistent damage by having all the DoTs, and has the best heal in the game.

That's the best party for the endgame
As for the rest of the game, I think that replacing Reyn with Riki is better. He is just really balanced and can fit into any party, plus he's great when controlled by a CPU

>most of them get automatically completed without having you go talk to the NPC in question.
the generic ones like Monster Quests 1 don't need to report back in the original too

the ones with "title" like "lost girl in the woods" need to report back in the original

Are you fucking slow? Consider the role each party member has and compose your party after its needs. You don't need 2 tanks.
