I've heard that you can't find groups for leveling dungeons anymore except for 60 mage carries. I haven't started my alt yet, but if that's true I kind of miss the naive retailbabs.

To add on top of this MC geared mages do around 400 dps no problem in MC gear. In vanilla AQ geared mages did around 400 dps. If you dont know AQ is finally were caster gear is good enough enough to be competitive with melee. Still no modern 2k dps though

I only got my warrior to 57 before I stopped, I was going to do this exact thing, are WSG and AB always like this? I did AV a few times to get ice barbed spear but lost every one because I'm Alliance. Glad I knocked it on the head in that case, what a fucking shame. BGs were all I wanted to do

The absolute key is finding people you actually enjoy playing with. It's a social game. If you're the kind of person that raids with people simply to get the loot and doesn't really take part in the social aspects you're gonna get really fucking bored quickly because the content isn't what makes the game good, it's the players, even if the community at large is one of the most autistic in video games
Mage players who boost SM for gold to pay for guilds to boost them through raids are the absolute worst offenders

I couldn't maintain a connection for 5 minutes before getting disconnected and booted to the login screen. My toaster can't play retail WoW, so I just stopped playing and went back to coop games on steam with a friend.
