Which Crash Bandicoot game was the best?

Warped > 2 > 1

The cart racer. All the other games are bargain bin shovelware.

I only ever played Warped, and I replayed it as recently as last week, and now I'm wondering if I should go back and play 2 and 1.
What bugs me is the lack of analog support on 2 and 1, the movement just isn't as good.

2 > 1 HD > 3 > 1 > Wrath of Cortex

2 > 1 > 3

3 is garbage, only low IQ subhumans that cant think critically would prefer it. The gimmicky levels are complete shit. 4 motorcycle races, 3 flying ones, 2 swimming, 4 water skiing.

13 gimmick levels, 19 platforming levels (Wall of China levels are fine since there's still a platforming component to that). As if the terrible gimmick levels weren't bad enough, the platforming levels themselves are complete shit. Designed for brain dead soda brains. Not only that, the power ups completely break the level design. I'm not talking about backtracking to old levels after acquiring double jump / super spin, the levels AFTER you get those power ups weren't designed around them. You can bypass every single challenge by sliding into a double jump and super spinning.

3 is horrible. The only good thing about it are the boss fights.

2 is the most well polished experience. The jetpack levels are stains on an otherwise perfect game but it's livable compared to the fucking warioware-tier minigame fest that is 3.

Team Racing>warped>2

The motorcycle levels are soul, man. The rest of the gimmicky ones I agree with, they all suck.

this.

4 because it is new and has Microtransactions planned for a later patch.

Correct

>1 hd above og 1
Based.

I never hated the motorcycle levels honestly, there's no worse than the boar/bear/tiger levels, positioning yourself to maximize wheelies and boosts to win the races as fast as possible requires just as much strategy and skill as navigating around enemies or jumping over pits in the other levels. Same with the jet ski levels.

The swimming levels and plane levels are all cancer though.

>there's no worse than the boar/bear/tiger levels,
Those are a clear step up from the racing levels. The motorcycle is incredibly slow aside from when you hit the boost pad. The animal levels are fast paced action and still retain platforming challenges.

Keep seething

That's not based at all, that just means he's nothing but a fat pussy.

1 > 2 > 3

>Keep seething
Not an argument, 3 zoomer.

>That's not based at all, that just means he's nothing but a fat pussy.
What's the matter? You watched a two hour video "essay" on how genius it is you have to beat the levels without dying to acquire the gems in Crash 1? Or a three hour essay on how genius it is you have to beat bonus levels to save? Naughty Dog themselves admitted the game is like that because they were incompetent and didn't have a fucking clue what they were doing.

Jesus, you're actually fuming, and nice projection there, with the video essay shit.

>still no argument

Crash 1: Incredibly solid but rather simplistic

Crash 2: Perfection. You have just the right amount of skills and level complexity to create fun and challenging platformer while still staying true to the original.

Crash 3: Way too many skills that trivialize all the levels. Half of the levels are dumb gimmicks and all the standard platform levels are inferior to even the worst levels of the previous games. The worst of the trilogy.

Crash 2 green label greatest hits has analog support

I feel like they are a package deal of sorts as you'll always find a certain aspect that one has over the others.

I feel Crash 1 has the most does the best jungle levels. I don't see why Crash 2 had to have them again other than the first level.

I feel Crash 2 flows the best and feels likes the most polished experience.

Lastly I feel Crash 3 is the most adventurous as it feels like an actual adventure going to all the different locals despite some gimmicks over staying their welcome.

Wasn't replying to one.

Keep telling yourself that, kiddo.

2 > 3 > 1
3 had too many gimmick stages with vehicles and deep sea diving and shit, still fun though. 1 aged horribly

Fuck you you fucking spic

Ask me how I know you were filtered by those "gimmick levels" you hate so much.

OG: 3 > 1 > 2
N-Sane: 1 > 3 > 2

The QoL fixes make a difference. 3 didn't need them, 1 did.

I didn't play Warped for years, never had it as a kid, thought I was in for some forgotten (as far as I was concerned) gem, but it genuinely isn't even that much better than Wrath of Cortex, those gimmick levels are pretty shitty and the swimming one in particular is INEXCUSABLY bad

Retard. The games are designed for D Pad, so it's what you're supposed to play with

Reminder that the designs in 4 are pure cancer.

2>>>>1
But all three are good
Emulate crash 2 with analog, cras 1 has diffrent physics and mostly straightforward and "2.5D" levels so playing with d-pad shouldn't be a problem.

Only played Nsane: 1 > 3 > 2

I 100%'d the original trilogy and the N Sane Trilogy countless times, faggot. Nothing about any of the games are even remotely challenging to me, it's all muscle memory at this point. Embarrassing you think that something being challenging (the gimmick levels aren't challening) is the only reason someone would dislike something, sad!

Dont trigger the turbovirgin.

this has to be bait there's no way you think jet-ski and underwater levels are good there is literally no way they are so shit

I'm only here for Coco.
