Western drawfags are shit for many reasons but I wanted to focus on the noses because it's what bothers me the most. Sometimes they get every other part to look decent yet they completely shit the bed when it comes to the nose. The nose is one of the most diverse parts of the face and can contribute a lot of the personality of a character's design. Eastern style has generally favored cute designs that are more simplified. Western artists like to try to make characters look more distinct and the nose is one of the best ways to do that. However, a lot of western artists don't completely understand what they're doing and instead jump to the conclusion that a bigger nose is equivalent to more personality.
