Fuck rtwp, I can't bear it. I never got far into BG, POE or PF. The only rtwp game that got my attention was DAO.
Meanwhile dos 1 and 2 combat is deeply satisfying and made me complete each game twice

I always hated RTWP. I queue up a bunch of shit and as soon as it all goes off I immediately self pause again. I like that turn based shows you and goes through each individual action. In RTWP characters have different speeds at which they perform actions and when all four party members are out of sync you'll find yourself pausing on every single party member action just to remain efficient barely seeing any of the action because you're constantly pausing mid animation on every attack.
If they want to show off bigger battles they should just do a system where everyone queues something up in the same exact turn and it all goes off at once.
