>i5 6600k

Finna upgrade with Covidbux 2

>8GB RAM
how in the fuck do people do this? i rest at around 10GB ram usage

sounds good man
anything more is only of you feel like it

Your OS uses more RAM based on how much RAM you have.

how?

Attached: file.png (1151x544, 45.75K)

What the fuck do you run with 10GB RAM usage?
100 Chrome tabs?

Good luck running games in anything other than 1080p low to mid settings. That CPU is absolute decade-old trash. Also, who the fuck uses an HDD anymore? Poor people? I'm LMAOing at your life, kid.

oh that's interesting

>2020
>HDD

I have:
i5 7400
8gb ram
930gb HDD
GTX 1050ti

and it serves me pretty well desu

Something is obviously wrong whit your PC.
Unless you have like 100 tabs open.

Windows will acualy clear up ram if neadded for other apps.
So if it shows 4 GB of used ram on 8 gb it can free up up to 3 or slitly more for games for like 7+GB of ram total.

YIKES this was my exact setup except 16gb
Now i upgraded to i5 9600kf, 2060 super and SSD and fuck is it so much better.

by December mine will be

>i7 10700k
>3080ti
>32gb ram

>not using 3rd gen ryzen and nvme storage
shiggus diggus

>GTX 1050ti
yikes

i3 8100, 8gb ram, rx580, 2tb hdd

max everything at 1080p 60fps (for now). simple as.

This is actually me. The only reason for me to upgrade is to replace my 10 year old HDD.

Honestly, how much performance gain would I get if I got an RTX 3XXX, new cpu, SSD, and doubled the ram?

Fuckin' GTA:Online idling in the background or something? shit dude, that's crazy

you could run every game max settings in 1440p while getting 80-100fps or even more

>3900X
>Crosshair VIII X570
>32gb 3600mhz RAM
>1tb WD Black SN750 for OS
>1tb Crucial MX500 for vidya
>12tb WD Red HDD for media storage
>...
>.....

>980Ti

I'm just waiting for the next gen of PC cards to come out to upgrade my last component. the jump from what I have to a 2080Ti card just isn't worth it when the only vidya that I'm currently playing is XIV

Get an SSD, but the rest is fine.

why would someone buy a new PC when all new games suck?

How did you know OP ? Spot on

Bought that shit in 2011 and it's rocking everything easy peasy in 1080p

Might upgrade next year though

Attached: best investment ever.png (924x394, 27.4K)

Attached: rig.png (1007x375, 111.1K)

Attached: shart.png (640x577, 59.52K)

i5 4570
16gb RAM
128gb SSD / 2TB HDD
RX 580

the cpu is bottlenecking my system hard but im poor

Ryzen 5 2600
Vega 56
250gb ssd
1tb hdd
B450 mobo

When should I upgrade gpu/cpu? I want 1080p 60frames minimum on good settings but games are getting more and more demanding. Also rtx is looking appealing but price is a bitch

Attached: 1591070026034.jpg (600x597, 40.42K)

>doesnt know how to enable xmp

maybe you could get a cheap 2080 a bit after the 3000 series releases

Wait until the next gen consoles come out.

*16gb 3200mhz ram

trash. 970 can't get a solid 60 FPS on Three Kingdoms, Monster Hunter, theHunter and anything else vaguely modern even on middle high settings.

ya it can at 720p. bitch.

i5 4440 3.1ghz
16 gb ram ddr3
2x 2tb hdd 7200 rpm
gtx 1060 6gb
I am gonna use this pc until it burns
