Yeah, but the Iris games are different. Those games are closer to standard jrpg games like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest. The rest of the Atelier games feel much more comfy in comparison. Kinda like Rune Factory or Recettear. Also the alchemy was pretty barebones in the Iris series. It's a lot more complex now.

Can't comment on Mana Khemia because I haven't played them yet. But I've heard they are pretty good too.

Does anyone like the combat system in Ryza? I can't stand it, I fucking hate RTwP and this feels like the JRPG equivalent of RTwP, why the fuck do I want real-time in my turn-based menu combat, at least the FF games allowed you to turn off the time meme.

I would've much, much rather had the series die than to see Gust carry on as this soulless puppet controlled by KT. I absolutely loathe what Gust and the Atelier series has become and I sincerely hope they go out of business after this surge of popularity.
