Overwatch came in right at the time people were getting very upset about Valve's handling of TF2, and was the first and only "TF2 killer" that actually had some claim to that title simply by being made by Blizzard.
Now, seeing OW playercount dwindle and its legacy mostly being that of cumslut models getting dicked in SFM, TF2 still thriving even though Valve abandoned it is pretty fucking satisfying.
