Alright, i have tried like 30 times and still can pass this mission. "Paper Trail" the one where we have to blow up a helicoper with Jacob's help. Is this misison necessary to reach the ending?
Any trick on how to control a helicopter with pc controls?
Plug in a comtroller. >b-but I can't afford it :( I got my PS2 USB powered imitation controller for the equivalent of 4 dollars and you could probably get it cheaper if you tried.
Oliver Evans
>Is this mission necessary to reach the ending? Yes, it is.
Jace Peterson
Really? I have completed almost 80 missions by now except for this one.
Turn off mouse control for helicopters and use the numpad or arrow keys.
Owen Davis
I have. 4 was the only one that i hadn't played.
Jace Torres
I have a normal mouse unlike the one showed in the video. Will it work?
Eli Bailey
then you should know all the story missions are linear except maybe one pick one of two situations
Nolan Butler
I always got filtered super hard by GTAs pc helicopter missions in VC and SA. Save the pain and get a controller, fratello italiano.
Nathaniel Moore
I remember not being able to beat the last mission of GTA IV because there was a quick time event bound to framerate making it impossible to do at 60+ fps
Camden Cruz
The final set of missions starts with the mission "One Last Thing." One of the requirements to start that mission is to finish the mission "That Special Someone," and in order to play that mission you need to finish "Paper Trail." Therefore, yes, if you want to reach the story ending of GTA IV, you need to beat Paper Trail.
Isaiah Parker
Haha! I remember I had to alt-tab during that part, switch the number of cores GTAIV was using in the task manager, alt-tab back, finish the QTE, then revert it to all the cores again. Funny shit.
Isaac Phillips
Forgot to add this shit was in both versions of the final mission
Caleb Edwards
You don't need the extra buttons, just get used to moving the mouse to tilt the helicopter forward or back.
Benjamin Adams
Fuck heli missions in GTA IV >game tells you to fly low but you're actually not supposed to do that or you'll instantly take a rocket to the face >can't finish the last mission if you have over 60 fps
Adrian Smith
how can you not do this i did it first try literally 2 days ago
Ryan Bailey
its easy, user. You just beat the mission
Aiden Torres
>not eating both What are you, gay?
Gavin Lee
Honestly this, I play GTA with a keyboard and mouse, and then a controller when I fly or Drive.
Jordan Hall
Thanks anons, will give it a try again.
Colton Garcia
just fly to the statue >Any trick on how to control a helicopter with pc controls? Git Gud Seriously it's not hard, you're using the numpad right?
Nathan James
I was using the "W, A,S,D" controls. Draf the mouse front while holding the scroll bar to move the helicopter forward. I just can't control the height at which i am supposed to follow the target.
Hudson Wright
*drag
Ayden Rogers
≈40g beef VS ≈300g broccoli
Anthony Fisher
*drag the mouse forward
Sebastian Rivera
Try using WASD & Numpad 2,4,6,8
Alexander Clark
is there any other way to move the helicoper forward than holding the scroll bar and dragging the mouse forward? It's really hard to control like that. I can't even get the helicopter to the level of the target.
Jackson Ward
If only it was that easy. Get V has the option of skipping parts of a mission. That's how i cleared the Yoga one.
Luis Gray
I confused this mission with the last one When Jacob is about to shoot don't change your movement in any direction if you're going straight keep that line, as long as you're next to him it should do it, at least it worked for me a couple of days ago. if you have a numpad definitely use it on the last mission don't worry much about the target just get to the statue
