Literally every review even the negative ones say the combat and gameplay is great though.
The most important take away is that enemies don't become more bullet spongy, like the player they just become more skilled as you progress, that shit is so huge can't wait.

Damn shame it won't come to PC since I'd give it a shot but I bet the PS5 port/bc will look nice.

Can you show me which gameplay you watched? Genuinly want to know, because all the ones I've seen show generic bamham style combat where the enemies line up one by one taking turns attacking you.
The AI looks to be complete garbage. You can walk around killing peole 5 meters away from other enemies and they don't react because you are not in their narrow LoS cone.
Throwing fire crackers on the ground will have enemies run over and stare at it in confusion instead of looking around for whoever threw it.
